Convertible (soft-top):
  • EcoBoost
  • EcoBoost Premium
  • GT Premium

Mechanical
  • Addition of Federal/Non-California Emissions System on EcoBoost and EcoBoost Premium
    • Availability: standard with 2.3L EcoBoost engine for units sold in federal (non-California compliant) emissions states
    • For the 2025 model year, 50-State Emissions System was standard on these trims
  • 50-State Emissions Systems is now optional
    • Availability: standard on 2.3L EcoBoost models for dealers located in California, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, Vermont, Washington; optional for dealers in federal (non-California compliant) states
    • For the 2025 model year, this was standard on all models sold nationwide
  • Changes to Mustang Dark Horse transmission options:
    • 10-speed automatic is now standard
    • Six-speed manual is now optional
    • For the 2025 model year, six-speed manual was standard; 10-speed automatic was optional on Dark Horse
  • Tire inflator and seal kit is now optional on all trims
    • For the 2025 model year, this was standard on all trims
    • For the 2026 model year, this feature is no longer standard
Exterior
  • Spoiler delete now standard on all Convertible models
    • For the 2025 model year, this was optional on Convertible models
  • Addition of optional wedge spoiler for EcoBoost and EcoBoost Premium Fastback
    • For the 2025 model year, this was exclusively available on GT and GT Premium Fastback
  • Addition of 18-inch x 8-inch Painted Shadow Silver Cast Aluminum wheels as standard on EcoBoost and EcoBoost Premium
    • For the 2025 model year, 18-inch x 8-inch Machined-face Aluminum wheels with High gloss Ebony Black Painted Pockets were standard on these trims
  • Deletion of 19-inch x 10.5-inch (front)/19-inch x 11-inch (rear) Carbon Fiber Wheels
    • For the 2025 model year, these wheels were optional on Mustang Dark Horse with Dark Horse Handling Package
    • The Mustang Dark Horse with the Dark Horse Handling Package continues to offer 19-inch X 10.5-inch (front)/19-inch X 11-inch (R) Tarnished Dark Painted Aluminum Wheels as standard
  • Deletion of Blade Decklid Spoiler
    • For the 2025 model year, this was standard on EcoBoost Premium, GT, and GT Premium trims; for the 2026 model year, these trims no longer feature a spoiler as standard
  • Addition of two new exterior colors:
    • Adriatic Blue Metallic
    • Orange Fury Metallic Tri-Coat
  • Deletion of two exterior colors:
    • Wimbledon White
    • Intense Lime Yellow Metallic

Interior
  • Addition of three new seatbelt colors:
    • Black with red stripe
    • Prime Blue
    • International Orange
    • For the 2025 model year, these seatbelt colors were not available; Race Red was the only optional seatbelt color, and it continues to be offered for the 2026 model year
  • Addition of manual flip framed mirror as standard on EcoBoost Premium and GT
    • For the 2025 model year, auto-dimming frameless rearview mirror was standard on these trims
  • Addition of black foot pedals as standard on EcoBoost Premium and GT Premium
    • For the 2025 model year, aluminum foot pedals were standard on these trims
    • For the 2026 model year, aluminum foot pedals are no longer available
  • Addition of dual power adjustable sideview mirrors as standard on EcoBoost Premium and GT Premium
    • For the 2025 model year, heated sideview mirrors with Pony Logo puddle lamps were standard on these trims; now no longer available
  • Addition of 12.4-inch LCD digital cluster with Information On Demand (IOD) message center and 13.2-inch capacitive touchscreen with swipe capability as standard on EcoBoost Premium and GT Premium
    • For the 2025 model year, Magnesium Framed Panoramic Curved Display was standard on these trims
    • For the 2026 model year, the Magnesium Framed Panoramic Curved Display is optional on Standard Package and standard on High Package
  • First-row carpeted black floor mats are now optional on EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, GT, and GT Premium
    • For the 2025 model year, these floor mats were standard on these trims
    • For the 2026 model year, these trims no longer feature standard floor mats at all
    • The only 2026 Mustang trim to offer floor mats as standard is the Dark Horse
  • Deletion of universal garage door opener
    • For the 2025 model year, this was included in EcoBoost Premium High Package, GT Premium, and Dark Horse Deluxe Package
    • No 2026 Mustang is offered with the universal garage door opener feature
  • Deletion of illuminated door-sill scuff plates
    • For the 2025 model year, these were included in High Package on EcoBoost Premium and GT Premium
  • Deletion on Deep Indigo seatbelt
    • For the 2025 model year, this was standard on Dark Horse
    • For the 2026 model year, the Mustang Dark Horse ships exclusively with Black seat belts

Safety and Security
  • Perimeter Alarm is now included in High Package for all Convertible and Fastback models
    • For the 2025 model year, this was not available
  • Antitheft Package is now optional on all EcoBoost Premium and GT Premium High Package models, including Fastback and Convertible
    • For the 2025 model year, this package was called Security Package and was standard on and exclusive to Convertible models

Packages
  • Addition of FX Package
    • Availability: optional on GT and GT Premium
    • Package content:

Yeah, it’s really pretty ridiculous how the car has been losing content since the S650’s introduction. I didn’t realize that you can no longer get aluminum pedals at all… Ford just appears to be cheaping out so much this generation. Optional floor mats? Come the hell on.

Guess Ford has to save money to pay for all the recalls somehow…

24 dark horse prem $4k under msrp before price increase and options deleted for 25
