Does anyone know what happens if I make changes to my order? Also when is it to late to make a change?

I made a change to my order. Contact your dealer. Go over the changes. I just texted him. He gets with his manager they make the changes and they send you a revised copy of your order through email. Confirm that everythibg checks out. And thats it. As long as you dont have your VIN number yet u can change anything

Agreed. Changes can be made at any time, up until the car is scheduled for production and a VIN is issued. Once a VIN is cut, the build is committed and no further changes can be made.

I’ve made two changes to my build since my VIN# was issued. I was NOT “In Production” when I made the changes nor issued a Window Sticker yet.
I have confirmed once I received my sticker that both changes are in place

I talked to someone at Ford chat and they confirmed that you should be able to makes changes until the car goes into production.

Then they checked the status of my build (scheduled for 8/2) the computer stated it was locked in because it was scheduled. So their own information either contradicts or Ford is scheduling based on options selected which may make some sense of why certain builds are scheduled while others are not.

Perhaps it is an early production thing just to get things rolling.

I dropped NP and did BP. Also added the 3.55 diff. Wish had done the red leather.
