1) Warranty
2) Warranty
3) Car wireless charging pads are garbage and almost never work with most phones (mostly because there are no standards for where the charging coil is on phones, and it must line up precisely with the coil for the charger.)
It has more to do with the phone than the charger. Most people aren't even aware that all phones have compatibility limitations relating to different charging types. New phones and their batteries have fast charge and super fast charge upgrades that allow them to utilize wireless charging more efficiently. So when people put giant brick cases on their 5 year old phones and then bitch about when their wireless charging isnt good...they aren't understanding the real problem.

It's not so much the "phone" per se but rather the charging coil in the charger and the one in the phone need to be precisely aligned, which is why Apple came up with MagSafe and why the same technology is now part of the Qi2 standard.

Ford was likely sick of the complaints they got when the coils didn't align precisely and phones would overheat trying to charge wirelessly with misaligned coils.

For stocks the simplest thing to do is just buy an S&P500 ETF amd forget about it. It's a bet on America being successful, and on average goes up 10% per year. Every 10 years the top mix of companies looks different, so why pick a horse when you can just buy the whole farm?

I would have considered a Z4 if a 2+2 convertible wasn't my minimum requirement. Need a place to put car seats for the kids. I was close to going with an M440i or an S5 that were around the same price.
I wouldn't go back to my 335i convertible if you paid me. Her name was Karen, because she was so temperamental. No more BMWs unless I get a great warranty and sell before it expires.

Totally get that. I got a 330Ci convertible with relatively high mileage about 10 years ago and it was in the shop almost every month, and repairs were NOT cheap. Because the wheels were tilted for sticking to the road around corners it seemed like I went through tires every 6 months. Then there were belts, the pump, the A/C, the convertible top, the instrument cluster, plastic parts breaking, the leather flaking, etc. Two of my happiest days were the day I got the car and the day I sold the car.
