Sadly, I don't believe the lighted sills or the home link are available in even the 401A. I checked my order to be sure. The home link disappoints me more than the lighted sills which are cheaper to do aftermarket.

I clearly waited a year to long for the Coyote, manual, and RWD. However still excited to get the car!

Something available all the way back on S197's. Wild.

Its the little things. It doesn't take away from the actual driving experience or anything, but then you look at cars that do have it and think "aw man :("

Luckily we should be able to add them - theoretically at least? I can’t believe they’d go to the expense of changing wiring harnesses just to eliminate door sills. I’d bet you could buy the 2024/2025 sills on a 400A/401A and they’d plug right in.

talking straight out my a$$ though so YMMV

Another thing I noticed on the 2026: the Wedge Decklid Spoiler is now a paid option ($325). I believe this was free on 2024/2025 models. Apologize if this was mentioned before.

Correct.

The lighted sills and HomeLink are gone from the 401A.

In addition the anti-theft package with locking lug nuts and locking center console is an additional $500.

The lighted sills (and HomeLink) are not even available as dealer-installed options, which makes me suspect adding them back is not as simple as ordering the 2025 parts and installing them.

It looks like the visor with home link has been the same part for many model years. Hopefully that part is actually an easy replacement. Unfortunately they are not cheap.

For the sill, I could not find info on whether the wiring harness changed. But, I’m less bothered by this one.

I am kinda bummed that all new cars will come with nite pony headlights.. makes the black cars look like they don't even have headlights.

Iconic Silver has been retired in favor of Avalanche Gray.. probably not a big deal as those two colors are likely close enough, but it's disappointing that the replacement is a non-metallic flat color. The retirement of Grabber Blue Metallic is a bummer too.

The changes are already reflected on the custom build configurator (Build & Price) on Ford's website; looks like Job 2 cars are official now.

wow, look at that. Good thing I got my '26 Grabber Blue already, I figured it would retire soon as it ran for a few years. Avalanche is an awesome color-nice to see a mid year change up, I may have picked that if it was available earlier.

The good news is routine color rotations are business as usual for the Mustang - the car itself doesn't change much year-to-year, but Ford rotates colors on the regular to attract sales.

If you don't like the color choices today, you only have to wait 6 months to a year and Ford will rotate them again. Works out nicely I think.

Sounds like, after the news about how much power the SC makes (795), order banks are open. Has an updated guide been released for exact pricing yet?
