Indeed yes - Grabber Blue on the S650 Mustangs is metallic, though the effect is minimal. Without looking close, it's easy to assume the finish is for a flat color.
Big ditto on Iconic Silver.. very sorry to see it go and happy I landed one before Ford retired it. I assume an attractive...
I explained that the issue with the wiper is far more likely to occur at the dealership rather than Ford's factory, and BummerDriver highlighted a typo on my post as though my original point didn't stand.
I guess I was supposed to be upset that my mistake was highlighted, but it's the Internet...
Errors on assembly lines typically affect multiple examples and are not usually one offs, especially for something federally mandated like wipers (which include functional washers). You can bet your bottom dollar we'd have heard about a recall for a screw up this vital.
I don't this was another...
The good news is routine color rotations are business as usual for the Mustang - the car itself doesn't change much year-to-year, but Ford rotates colors on the regular to attract sales.
If you don't like the color choices today, you only have to wait 6 months to a year and Ford will rotate...
Iconic Silver has been retired in favor of Avalanche Gray.. probably not a big deal as those two colors are likely close enough, but it's disappointing that the replacement is a non-metallic flat color. The retirement of Grabber Blue Metallic is a bummer too.
The changes are already reflected...
Do customers have recourse in these cases where panel fit is notably off? I've seen some fairly egregious examples of the front bumper not lining up with the hood - either there's a dip on one side, or the edge of the hood almost looks U-shaped against the top of the front bumper.
Here are...
Spot on with every point. This post makes the case better than I did, and it should be required reading for every person in the country before they're allowed to get a driver's license. :)
Part of this is the East Coast attitude.. cooperation and giving the benefit of the doubt is not how they roll over there. Anyone who's ever lived in an East Coast city like Atlanta, NYC, or Philly for an extended period of time knows what it's like: no patience, no grace. Everyone is in a...
Missing the Auto Start Stop button would indicate that the feature is not installed. It's possible Ford may have dropped the feature since it is no longer mandated, but that would be a pretty quick change; my 2026 GT has the button.
In any case, I don't think there's a way to disable Auto Start...
Quick update, as promised: photos of the new Mustang have been posted. :)

Greetings everyone,
The new Mustang arrived in Colorado on Friday, November 28th - I worked out numbers the very next day and brought her home safe and sound in the garage. Took a drive to get acquainted and found a great place to snag some glamour shots. Still needs a proper wash and full...
This is a good question - and one that comes up for a fair number of potential Mustang buyers. As it happens, the GT Performance Pack came up as a point for discussion with another member here just the other week: he had some of the same thoughts you expressed about whether the PP option would...
Did you go with the 19x9 wheels all around? I.E., all four tires are sized at 255 40R19? Or did you decide to go with wider tires in the rear to match the performance pack?
Also, if I may - OK to ask where you picked up the wheels? Was talking with a friend last night and I advised going...
Agreed - Space Grey looks better with the black seatbelts for the 2026 model year. I wish Ford had kept the Space Grey color accent on the seatbelts for that interior from the 24 and 25 model years, but can't have everything I suppose. 😉
Regarding Ford's optional Tire Inflator Kit.. hard pass...
Same thinking here. I went from a manual 2016 EcoBoost to a 2019 EcoBoost w/PP+MR and it was at that time I made the switch to Automatic after driving stick for 17 years. An old wrestling injury from college that never healed right came back to bite me right before I turned 40, and it was time...
Likewise - it's been a pleasure and I'll be around if more ideas come to mind.
To your question, I'm going all-in on this one. This will be (by far) the most advanced and equipped Mustang on which I have ever spent my dollars. On that, I think the only equipment option I left on the table was...
Agreed. The 2019 Mustang was custom ordered for the same reason, and you'd think I'd know better and do the same with a proper GT. I compromised because the huge incentives and discounts on this GT got the better of me: Taking $7784 off a $54,850 MSRP was a steal, then roll in a paid off trade...
Good lord. If the Adriatic Blue looks this good in real life photos, I can't wait to see it in person.
I considered this color before custom ordering, but ruled it out once I saw the order guide made clear Carmine Red was not available in this combination. I really like it, but if I'm being...
Rocket Man is right again: as it happens, I have this exact plan after the Summer Tires wear out - my top choice is the exact same Continental tire he recommended.
If anyone else here would like to do the same, here is the link to those tires - easy enough to find on Tire Rack or have your...
