Yeah, sorry, I'm not buying that. The 2025 model year will be the 11th year for this platform since the S650 is an S550 underneath the sheet metal. It's not an aluminum structure, and they haven't done much in terms of development over those 11 years.The truth is the 2024 should have cost EVEN MORE.
What changes? It's the same car with new sheet metal and a different dash board. That's it.but they sold it to us at bargain prices knowing they can subsidize the changes over the next few years.
Covid supply chain issues and inflation certainly had an impact on prices, but according to the numbers I've found, base Mustang GT prices have increased 26.7% since 2020, while the base Corvette is up 16.6%. That's a huge difference.that explains the price hikes to a T. And also is what Chevy did with original $59,999 C8s at launch. That are now 75k or whatever
