A truly "functional" spoiler will help reduce the turbulence off the trunk which will reduce the dirt/dust collection. Aside from that, it's gonna happen.
As soon as I heard about the Faraday pouches and what they do and just how vulnerable "push to start" cars are, I got 2 for our FOB's. Pouches are a little bulky in the pants/shorts, but I'm making it work.
The Ceramic Coating principles can't be explained much better than above. To think all it does is make things shiny...more research is needed. The best part is in the 2nd paragraph..:fistbump:
Put the AT's in track mode, you get Rev-Matching. Totally useless on city streets/highways, but very necessary on the track. Did heel-toe shifting for years road racing, got tired of it, not the easiest thing to do and when you miss a shift, not fun. Upgraded to the Auto-Blip in 2015 and...
Sounds like a lot of effort for a simple "catch can". For the price, not a good value IMO. As others have commented, the J&L is easy to install and easy to drain.
My oil life monitor is to check the dipstick periodically, usually after 5K+ on odometer and see if it's beginning to look dirty, hence change needed. The only car I've owned that the cars oil life monitor was accurate was a chevy sonic that reminded me usually after 3 months of driving, to...
Tested the Byens Weld Frame Rail Adapter in pics above and also the Hockey Puck version from Mission Automotive. Both worked fine, no issues...think it helps since they concentrate on the welds.
I went with the Standard set, good quality, has good durability to them, I have no fears they'll work as expected. I see no value in going with Deluxe version.
As requested. Outside of having to take wheels off, the rears were quite simple. Took my time, double checked the video on the first run, second was much quicker.
I'm doing the ZL1 Rock Guards. Fronts were easy took all of 5 min. The rears, little more involved, gotta jack up the car and take wheels off to get to work area. Will do the rears tomorrow....
Installed mine today....damn air pockets.😖 All looked great till I peeled off the front cover and saw all the air bubbles and in the middle of course. Had to peel up 2 edges to get 2 little ones out, the big ones squeegeed with no problems. Like you, it'll take a while to get used to it, but...
Don't necessarily need 75w140 in the a stock stang, although it won't hurt it, those diffs get hot and heat is not a diffs friend. I was mostly pointing out the friction modifier. I used 75w140 in my mustang track car with Torsen T-2R...lots of heat generated.
Because not everybody drives it everyday and in some cases, weekly. Ours is a secondary vehicle-toy/fun thing if you will. Since Nov 1, it has been hibernating in my garage, so it goes on the trickle charger. Even after it comes out of hibernation, I keep it on the charger while in the...
