If you think they're going to change up the mustang in two years (besides the traditional refresh), then you're crazy lol Takes years just to develop it. They're coming up with ideas for the next one and that won't be seen for probably another five years.
Oh they won't, these cars won't be around in 5 years

The truth is the 2024 should have cost EVEN MORE. but they sold it to us at bargain prices knowing they can subsidize the changes over the next few years.

that explains the price hikes to a T. And also is what Chevy did with original $59,999 C8s at launch. That are now 75k or whatever

My local dealer found a DH premium for me a few months ago.
They had it shipped in from Oklahoma...I'm in Florida.
I was legit about to send it on a DH premium in Georgia for MSRP, and I live in California. These cars are already pricey, but the outdated dealership aspect of buying Mustangs makes it even worse. Yet another thing to be upset about these price increases is that you already know dealers are still gonna mark them up and market them as "the last American V8 muscle car".

Yeah, I said five years. It'll take 5 years. You said theyll be gone in two years. They can't design another car and release it in two years. 5 years would be a normal life cycle for a car.

But Chevy have also iterated on each year. They make small changes that actually make the price increase make sense. On top of that, they offer more and more colors each year. Ford did the exact opposite of that while not making any mechanical or performance changes to the car from 2024. On top of iterating each year, they also introduce new trims that push the performance boundary even further (e ray, z06, and soon the zr1). I'm not saying Ford won't do this with the 2026 and beyond, but them just increasing it after one year and removing colors is a slap to the face to anyone who was waiting for 2025 improvements.

How long did it take to refresh the S550?

We weren't talking about a refresh, that's why in the post before the one you quoted I said "not the typical refresh".

I have received a vin number and a build date for my 2024 GT convertible so my dealer is pretty sure it will get built. I sure hope so because it’s dark matter gray as well. I checked pricing, and the same car in 2024 was $67k and would now be over $71k. That’s a crazy increase. For me this is the most money I have ever spent to get a car, and it doesn’t even come with a spare tire. 🙄. The dealer told me it will take forever to get a spare tire kit. Any ideas would be great.

These changes aren't positive. I think I'm going to get a new pickup instead. 5k increases for no new features is ridiculous.
And the 12 speakers, with the Sub is an extra $995.00
Something is going wrong with the Mustang platform?
Ford may be Fishing for?.
I understand some of the inflation issues but,
I don’t see any real Winners?
I’m very pleased with my 2024 GT Premium.
I should of bought Two..

If you receive a VIN you should be good to go. The next big deal is the Blend Date. I believe the Blend Date is when the two sections go together. Body and Drive Train.
The Spare Tire went from $415.00 to $515.00 for the 2025’s.
I ordered my 2024 GT Premium on February 19, 2024.
About 90 days later I drove it home, May, 17,2024. Very Please with my purchase..
No issues or Bugs so far..
I also ordered the Spare Tire.
Here in Colorado High County phone service can be hit or miss?
Just get the Spare for piece of mind!
