Disappointed.

$9K over a base Ecoboost ($2195 High package + $6520 RTR package). For a couple grand more you get a GT, whole different kind of car. GT also has significantly higher rebates than Ecoboost (i.e. $4,000 off vs $1,500 off) and more negotiation room, so that negates the price gap.

And no mention of the DarkHorse rear subframe, DarkHorse front + rear sway bars, larger (GT) radiator, GT steering rack, performance chassis tuning (chilled stability control in Track Mode), nor the much-hyped "anti-lag" Vaughn Gittin Jr. was bragging about in all the promo interviews.

Doesn't even have performance changes from the old Ecoboost Performance Package or S550 HPP package. I'd been excited for this model, since I prefer the lighter more responsive feel of my '24 Eco vs my '25 GT, but it's basically an overpriced aesthetic package.

I can't see how it's worth it. Even a Monster Energy vape bro wants a real V8 for the same price at the end of the day.

The configurator doesn't specifically mention much of anything on the specifics, though that has been the way of the configurator forever... I guess we need to see an order guide or specification sheet for the actual package to see what's really on it.

Thanks for sharing! We're super pumped to have the Ford Mustang RTR available to the people directly from Ford. 🤘
