I am on a similar mission with my girl's Bronco sport, but I started with the APIM first and just ordered the cluster from a 2025 Bronco Sport to see what I can get it to do (or not do).

The GWM on Sync 3 will never be fully compatible with the IPC you put in or the Sync 4 APIM. Certain things will work, and others will not. On the Bronco Sport with the SYnc 4 APIM, eveything "works", but I cannot go into the settings and turn anything that is on to off or vice versa. If at the time you put the new APIM, auto-fold mirrors are on, then you cannot turn that feature off. In my case, I am beta testing the Sync 4 APIM for Infotainment. Eventually, they will develop a GenieMax (in-house module they make to make these conversions compatible with the existing module architecture), but for now, it is what it is. Video below is from when I first swapped in the APIM. I was able to fix connectivity and get WiFi to show up with some FORScan changes, but I am still unable to toggle features on and off in the APIM:

https://www.broncosportforum.com/fo...-near-you-from-infotainment.18460/post-290323

Also, if you swap the APIM for a Sync 4 one, do not remove the vehicle from Fordpass or you will not be able to add it back to Fordpass without putting the Sync 3 APIM back in.
I manage to get everything working on the APIM, was able to deactive alot of the lane assist and other safety measures, I also didn't know (bought the cheapest S650 APIM) but my buddy with a premium performance pack pointed out that I have maps (nav) and his didn't, the stock antenna works, the usb ports, I just received the radio and hvac module, I ordered the dash harness to steal the connectors and splice them in. I was surprised that the APIM was able to communicate to the IPC through the S550 harness, all changes on the APIM reflect on the cluster, I just cant access the profiles, I do have the whole steering column with the clockspring, steering controls etc but check it out on my 6g forum

Is it possible to change any of the shortcut buttons on the Home Screen? I would like to remove steering wheel heating and replace it with max AC.

There is also a soft and physical button for max demist, surely not needed! And there is no auto start/stop on my car, so a free physical button too - I wonder if it’s wired…

I may be reaching out to you for help and insight soon. I got the IPC in the mail this week for my girl's Bronco Sport and it seems like it won't fit due to differences in dimensions. I am still going to take apart the dash and try, but I may need to get the entire dash insert from a 2025 as well as the bigger screen, an APIM designed for the bigger screen so I can enable the unreal theme for the on-screen a/c controls, HVAC module and possibly some behind the dash a/c ducts since the a/c vents go under the touchscreen as oppossed to next to the touchscreen on the 2023 model.

What was supposed to be a simple IPC swap just turned into a major project. That's what happens when you like to FAFO. 😂

Has anyone started playing around with flattening the EQ on ACM 727-01-02 on the 650’s yet? I have a 301a 9 speaker setup that I want to try to liven up a bit and this was a good fix on my 2017 F150. I’m going to dust off my OBDlink MX and renew my license soon…

FYI this is what I’m referring to:

727-01-02 x*xx. 0=Flat EQ
1=Premium EQ #1 7=Audiophile EQ#3 D-F=misconfiguration
2=Premium EQ #2 8=Audiophile EQ#4
3=Premium EQ #3 9=Audiophile EQ#5
4=Premium EQ#4 A=Audiophile EQ#6
5=Audiophile EQ#1 B=Audiophile EQ#7
6=Audiophile EQ#2 C=Audiophile EQ#8

Update:
The spreadsheet is indicating the number is in a different spot now. This is the one listed for the 2024:

727-01-02xxx*xxxxxx--0 =EQS Flat EQ7 =EQS EQ #7
1 =EQS EQ #18 =EQS EQ #8
2 =EQS EQ #29 =EQS EQ #9
3 =EQS EQ #3A =EQS EQ #10
4 =EQS EQ #4B =EQS EQ #11
5 =EQS EQ #5C =EQS EQ #12
6 =EQS EQ #6
Has anyone figured out which is correct for 2024 ecoboost premium.

Every AI says this "727-01-02 x*xx. 0=Flat EQ" but the spreadsheet says its "727-01-02 xxx*"

Thanks!

Got my S650 dash swap working including A/C, cluster, center screen and audio control panel, I have 2 questions, the Hazard only works on first click like momentary vs latching like I hit the button and it only flashes once then automatically stops, then hit again and same thing but hitting it multiple times triggers my tpms relearn lol, second, audio only displays 0 but works, I heard like 7D0-01-01 X###-####-#### to 0 will fix but it was for a Maverick, correct for S650 too?

I don't think that location will fix the volume issue. SDARS has to do with satelite radio and RSEM is some software related thing that I don't understand, but I don't think it corrolates to the volume control.

Try looking through the spreadsheet on the ACM spreadsheet to see if you find anything useful.

As far as the hazrds, I am stumped on that one.

Alright another fix, I copied as built data from a 24 Mustang with 9 speaker package so I wouldn't interfere with the B&O external amp as I have 6 speaker package but wired the center speaker to the ACM, heres my original lines for 7D0-01-01

Heres the new data that worked

Ah, so it was in that line of the APIM? Interesting. Good to know.

They make several different models... did you get the proper ones? If they are new, they may require programming of LCDM's (module on light fixture). FDRS software would likely be required or a trip to dealer.
