My 2024 Mustang GT is a huge disappointment. I would gladly trade my 24 GT for my 2018 mustang GT dead even no money changes hands. First of all the the indicated speed limit is way off base, that was not true with my 2019 Fusion or my wife's 2022 escape. It is reporting to my insurance company that when I am on a 55mph highway that the speed limit is 22 MPH!! Mean while lane keeping assist when enabled simple runs me off the road. My wife's 2022 ford escape it works flawlessly. Yes it has a huge touch screen but the underlying technology is a HUGE step backward. I was completely caught off guard after 6 years I totally expected that technology moved forward. Sadly I was wrong. There are many other areas where the 24 technology is inferior to the S550.

Sounds like maybe you have a bad forward camera sensor or it needs calibration. Probably needs to be checked by your dealer.

But if thats enough to make you rant like an 11 year girl and want to trade your car in on an inferior model and take a huge financial hit in doing so, then maybe just save us the grief and get a prius.

I think maybe the problem lies with your insurance company not your vehicle. Or the cameras need calibration. Point is that doesn't make your mustang inferior. How else are you disappointed? And im sorry you've had a bad experience so far, but it might just surprise you and make you happy if you give it a chance to. Cheers 🍻

That's unfortunate. I haven't had any of those issues.

@Jimbo33. I have owned a number of Mustangs including a 2024 GT and now a 2026 GT. I have experienced none of the problems you cite. As @D/\rK•650 said - I'd take a hard look at my insurance company and IMO I'd probably drop them. I had my doubts about the touch screen too but now I love it. If you like anlogue, as has been already suggested, sell your 550 and IMO take a huge step backward to athe 550 which is inferior in many, many ways. You have stated a complaint and a solution so it looks like you have answered your own complaint. Pls post pictures of your 550 when you get it.

I have a 2018 S550 GT that I truly love.

I also have a 2024 S650 GT, and it took a while for me to "bond" with the S650. But I did.

The S650 is most definitely not inferior to the S550. As others indicated, get the dealer to check it out. A quick OBD scan will most likely let the dealer know what's going on.

turn off the insurance reporting stuff i did before i left the dealer
the other stuff well
i have seen the speed limit wrong but never 22 i think its in 5mph increments
i would turn off the speed limiter to just to avoid having to press down alot on the gas to break past the limit thats what i hear you have to do as again i tuned my speed limit assist off day 1
i also changed my lane keep to alert only no steering also to avoid it ever doing something dumb
