Ambient light is better on the S550

So I wonder why they made the ambient lighting worse on the S650.

Instead of making it better, now they removed the ambient light in the cupholders.

It was a nice touch to have ambient light on the cup holders to see where your cups are and just for the nice lights.

But yep, they removed them on the S650 for some reason :(

Wonder if there is a way to add this by using some parts from the S550.

What I also saw was you can't toggle the brightness level of the screens on your dash. There is just 1 brightness level. So during the night.

During night time driving sometimes I prefer to make the screens less bright. But the S650 does not have this option.

That's very odd it literally says cupholders but it's not there in the cupholders. Maybe they just forgot to add them at this point

That's the first mod I will makw, if Ford is not adding these in about a year.

I still hope that this is a mistake for the first few cars and that they later fix this issue.

A lot of these are done between MY changes to save a few bucks. It drives me insane. One year on the gen 2 Raptors they simply stopped illuminating the gear shifter gears because it’s in the dash anyways, but it was annoying to buy one and realize that wasn’t on my 2018 despite it being on the previous.

Now the gen 3 basic things like heated steering wheels can’t even be ordered. The original release of the Bronco and this generation F150 also had digital temperature gauges on the thermostat dials that were quietly removed.
