Disabling ANC and ESE via Forscan '25 Full Steps

Strange it should come back. One thing I worry about is an update to the car and its turned back on. If that is a possibility.
My concern now with subs getting installed is the thumping sound when ACC is turned on or car door is open. I'm not sure if that would affect the subs, frequency wise, or if its isolated to the front speakers only.

I mean, when I had the ANC issue, I put it back to the original hex configuration. So when it wasn't working, that was a plus, but yeah it eventually came back. Not sure what triggered it.

ANC, active noise cancelling, does not make the cabin more quiet?

I have headphones with ANC, and they cancel out noise and make everything quieter but the music I am listening to?

Why would you turn off ANC instead of just turning off ESE?

How many cars have ESE turned on? In another thread a GT owner reported it was already "off" from the factory.

Some cars have ANC with no ESE and like my wife's Nautilus. I had to unplug the ANC mic's (didn't have the FORScan value for Lincoln) when adding a sub and amp to shut of the sounds it added to the cabin so they wouldn't be amplified by the aftermarket equiptment. Not engine sounds of course but rather certain frequencies used to cancel out undesirable harmonics from the vehicle or road noise. I had to do the same when adding a sub/amp to her previous Grand Cherokee as well.

Disabled ESE on my gt it was on and its not much of a difference but it feels little quieter inside the car

That is what I was wanting to know. I would appreciate it being more quiet in the car

BUT

It probably won't impress passengers as much when you whack the throttle wide open in Track Mode and they get that blast of high rpm electronically enhanced exhaust "WTH was that???"

Anyone have any information on these As-Built numbers ? Here is a screenshot shot of mine, is the ESE engine sound enhancement, ANC ect enabled? Am I looking at the right group of numbers mine doesn't seem to be like the ones posted here.

I have 2025 Dark Horse Premium with handling package and appearance package

So if im reading what your saying correctly the way mine is in the picture it's disabled already and I don't have to change anything? Sorry if it's obvious I have ADD brain. Or do I need to change something to disable the ESE engine sound?

Its crazy to think my car has any artificial engine sounds from the factory with it being a v8 and dark horse to boot.

Will turning any of these off mess up the phone in my car? Like not being able to hear me when im driving? Does anyone have info about this? I want to clean up my stereo sound if I can but done want to loose any functionality with phone calls ect.

It won't affect anything else but removing ANC and ESE sounds.

You would change the 1 to a 0 to disable ESE.
