Perhaps knowing they can be configured per side narrows it down to either the LDCM's and/or BCM settings that are configured per side.

Yeah, or get some electrical issue since all values are disabled. Enabeling a circuit dat is turned off from factory doesn't give me a good feeling.

I should have time to try it out Sunday. I’ll also compare your values to GTD as builds to see if they match.

I think anything in the BCM with "ckt" in the name isn't going to do it... since the DRL and signals "ckt" comes from the LDCM's.

To no surprise, a Build One didn't work doing this. Where are y'all getting the information for trying to investigate further into developing this. I have access to things like Oasis and such as well. I'd like this for my own vehicle and to help others in this fight aswell!

i have some news of my own. i have been working on a spreadsheet that compares as-built data and lists what is different (code by ChatGPT, i really cant be asked). i should have some info soon. i wont be able to share the spreadsheet directly due to the GTD as-built data. as of now, i am collecting multiple as-built VIN data to ensure everything is accurate

I just tried this, with no change to the DRL behavior. Still have the White DRL with the headlights in AUTO and Amber sequential turn......however my turn signal now "gallops" inside on the IPC and it is audible. So instead of "click".... "click".... "click" It goes "click"...."click click"...."click".... Not necessarily annoying, but it is different.
With the headlight switch in the "OFF" position, the DRL does not operate though, turn signal still functions as amber sequential. Can not confirm if it was always this way or not.
Also, I did notice that when the white DRL is on, and the turn signal is activated, the white is on when there is no amber light on...if that makes sense. So when the sequential function goes through, it starts as all 3 lights amber, then 2 amber and 1 white, then 2 white and 1 amber, then all white. The sequence repeats. Can not confirm if it did this before the above changes though.

I looked around in the "easy" method and saw a "FRONT TURN USAGE" (or something like that) and it had an option for "DRL", "DRL and TURN", "DRL and TURN and POSITION" and other combinations. I tried each and still no luck getting the amber DRL to operate.
There are also options for the LEFT and RIGHT TURN lights separately. Again, tried each combination I could with no change to the DRL status.

There does have to be something to make these work, as the entire DRL bar does go full amber at the start of the turn signal sequence. So, the hardware is there, the software is there, it's just a matter of finding the proper code to keep the turn signal "ON" that first step in the sequential function.

Guys, I compared the GTD with my GT and I got the GTD splash screen to work, as you maybe saw in another topic that I opened.



Then I was confident that with this information I can find the difference in the LDCMA, HCM and BCM, so I compared line by line manually and wrote everything down that had to do with DRL and turn signals and also some other fun stuff like the splash screen etc.

I changed all the differences to the GTD version, with no luck. I also rebooted the modules after making the change, because sometimes you need to do the reboot to get everything to work.

I have a feeling I'm almost there, but because I had to check every line manually, I might have missed something.

Luckily @roket said he is going to do the same thing as me, but with ChatGPT and hopefully he will find the missing link.

We narrowed this thing down to the max. There should be just a slight change to do and we will get it.

I kept all the settings that I made like that, so if anybody found the missing link, I only have to add that setting to the ones I already programmed and get it to work.

What my car does right now when I close it, is that the DRL's are shining pink and very bright. I really love that color and it only shows the pink light after closing the door before locking the car.

I'm not giving up, but I'm going to bed now.

I think we with job 1 should do the diode dynamics amber fog lamps and call it a day
