LMAO. Let me see what I can find next week. If the BCMs or even the headlights are different, then this will not be easy. But if it’s a wiring or harness issue, then we can figure it out.

Do you have a GTD VIN by chance? I can search my parts catalog on Monday and see if there is a different BCM part number for it VS my GT BCM part number. There may even be different wire harnesses as well. it would seem odd that the GTD and other trims would have a different hardware...

Gotcha. I wish I had a GTD to mess with. The missing and different addresses seems to be the issue. There has to be a way to add or write those addresses to the vehicle. Not sure how, but there has to be a way I know it seems trivial just to have Amber DRLs but there has to be a way. LOL

What do you need? I’m familiar with ForScan and understand the basics behind it. So if you can tell me what addresses you need to see, I can screen shot them for you. I do t know if I have a job 1 or 2, will have to find my window sticker to confirm.

I just tried this, with no change to the DRL behavior. Still have the White DRL with the headlights in AUTO and Amber sequential turn......however my turn signal now "gallops" inside on the IPC and it is audible. So instead of "click".... "click".... "click" It goes "click"...."click...

Ok, will give it a shot this weekend. doesn’t some of the ecoboost cars come without the active shutters? If so, I wonder if those values would work.

Thanks, I appreciate any help. Yeah on my 2018 f150 I removed the shutters as well, and had no issues. I’ve talked to some other police upfitters, and they have either just left the CEL on or made a bracket with a couple screws for the motor to find the stops and keep the light from coming on...

Sorry it has taken a while to reply to this. Work has gotten away form me. The code I am getting is a U0284 in the OBD and PCM modules. Error is "lost communication with active grill shutter module a" I can reset the DTC and it goes off for a short time, but always comes back.
