Has anyone done any actual research to see if an oil cooler is added if a dealer can change any values in Forscan to account for it. I'm wanting to track my base GT in the future so I'm looking at adding an oil cooler. This might be a phone call to the dealer or Ford parts support to find out

Edit: Here's what myself and you all need to read first

Going to find out myself here shortly. Ordered a FP Oil Cooler and having the dealer install it hopefully next week. Will ask them about that sensor reading when I take it in.

What Mustang have you seen that makes over 800 horses?
Yet if the Procharger fails, only the Procharger is broken.
Procharger is much more likely to snap the crank and trash your entire engine due to side-loading, and I don’t know where you live but 8,9,1k hp mustangs are the norm around SE Michigan.

Even the PP is not all that great. The 1/2 shafts are weak. Whipple you GT PP and those shafts could fail. This is why many put GT350 shafts. They can take between 700-800 horses. What Mustang have you seen that makes over 800 horses?
1- half shaft upgrade is cheap and easy.
2- every one with a Whipple
I think the PP is a great bang for the buck

There is no sensor. The computer just has to be programmed knowing the cooler is part of the system. Which, quite frankly calls into question the accuracy of what the cooler is actually doing.

There was another poster that had the dealer install his, and he's saw no change in temps. The dealer was unaware Of the change needed and said there was no support to help. The guy was not happy.
