I think I may upgrade to a bigger radiator. Texas can be an extremely hot place, especially if one venture west. Not to forget a transmission cooler.

My temps are just fine daily driving in 115⁰.

So you could pack a .45, but choose a .22 instead. They say more people are killed with .22s than anything else. They're cheap.

I didn't get the PP because I wanted a cruiser that I can get on it once in a while here & there. We don't want speeding tickets, right!?. GT stands for Grand Tourer. If you want to be Big Foot a lot or for extended periods that is what the PP is for. Better yet get the DH or used Shelby

You want to go that far just get a Vette. It's better track car and dragster. Just keep the Mustang for around town. That's what it was meant for. Grand Tour the City.

I added Liquid Molly and Mobil 1 full synthetic.
it will take two bottles of rhe Ceratec we have a 10 qt capacity.
my temps in 100 deg Texas heat running hard max at 255 and I do not have an oil cooler. I can post a video but I personally do not think the cooler does much maybe a few deg drop.

PP or not oil temp is Inferred. Oil cooler will help physically but you will see zero difference on the dash and car will still go into limp mode. Since the car won’t know you have an oil cooler and there’s no way to fix it unless you reprogram your PCM with a PP pcm profile. I installed the PP OEM oil cooler on mine just for a peace of mind. It helps physically but car will still show the same temps unfortunately. You can also add the PP bigger radiator which I want to eventually do down the road. Regular GT is not just a “cruiser” lol

Actually it should be CASTROL. Ford of Europe uses CASTROL as an OE fill. Castrol 5w30 is on the heavier side of a 30wt and Mobil 1 is on the lighter side of 30wt.
FYI I have mostly run Mobil 1 all my life except for a few instances.

I use both too. But when I was looking for Ford spec compatability on Castrol Edge 5w/30 LL I couldn't find anything.

Even the PP is not all that great. The 1/2 shafts are weak. Whipple you GT PP and those shafts could fail. This is why many put GT350 shafts. They can take between 700-800 horses. What Mustang have you seen that makes over 800 horses?

The ppe is pretty great for the price, when it comes to someone leaving the gt in the realm of stock horsepower. Regarding the whipple breaking things, yeah thats going to happen every time you add 300 additional horsepower to something.

Yet if the Procharger fails, only the Procharger is broken. You can unbolt it, send it back for repair or replacement, and still ride around acting like Mustang Sally while waiting for a new one. No muss, no fuss, and no tears.

So if a supercharger fails, that will also lead to the engine of the vehicle failing as well because of how the SC mounts/embeds into the engine, but with a procharger installation it's basically a heavy duty bolt on type of mod?

Yes it’s all about profit. Ford don’t really care, everything is revolves around money. That’s why they have upgrade options to get more money from us. It’s as simple as that.

Every manufacturer offers good, better, best. You buy what you can afford and then apparently complain that it doesn’t do what the more optioned models offer. Imagine that.
