Honestly. I think you’re onto something… it’s so bad right now. 0 range.did you notice your keyfob range changed after you enabled it? my keyfob only works within 100 FT. anything over it won’t work

i think it’s doing this because the antennna is looking for the key to leave a perimeter and that’s interfering with the overall range. i haven’t tested the long range after the update but if it’s working again, i’ll just leave it as is.Honestly. Also is there a way yet to remove the speed restrictions?Curious if it’s been found how to configure the walk up lighting for a mustang gt asking for a friend. My ecoboost has this function already on but his does not. Also has anyone confirmed if the auto rev function the dark horse has works if enabled on the ecoboost?
So I started revisiting the tailight animation as my car is starting to thaw out in storage and did a deep dive between as built data between a 301a base GT and a Darkhorse and found these:look in the BCMB, that is where the ambient lighting and tail light stuff is stored
if you go to this page on my site https://roketgamer.dev/mustangtools and scroll down, there is a full list of modules with their addresses. 6F6 is the LDCMA, 6F7 is the LDCMB. both of the LDCMs and door modules are unique in that they are exactly the same except for their address. anything that works in the LDCMA will work in the LDCMB and vice versa, also true for the DDM and PDMSo I started revisiting the tailight animation as my car is starting to thaw out in storage and did a deep dive between as built data between a 301a base GT and a Darkhorse and found these:
LDCMA
6F6-05-05 0700 0000 000D - BASE GT
6F6-05-05 0700 0000 020F - DH
6F6-05-06 0007 - BASE GT
6F6-05-06 0910 - DH
In LDCMA, the * in the below values add the Darkhorse headlight animations:
6F6-05-05 XXXX XXXX X*XX - change * to 2
6F6-05-06 X*XX - change * to 9
I also found these values...
6F7-05-05 0700 0000 000E - BASE GT
6F7-05-05 0700 0000 0210 - DH
6F7-05-06 0008 - BASE GT
6F7-05-06 0911 - DH
I can't find a reference to 6F7 on the LivinItUp spreadsheet but I want to say I did see a LDCMB module in Forscan the last time I was in it. I'm curious if those values are for the taillights and the same values in the above module are for the DH. Does anyone have the ability to check as my car is currently in storage? If not I'll test it out the next time I'm at the garage.
Thanks for the link! I thought I finally had a breakthrough to get the taillights to work haha. Back to the data; I'm determined now! This stuff intrigues me too much...if you go to this page on my site https://roketgamer.dev/mustangtools and scroll down, there is a full list of modules with their addresses. 6F6 is the LDCMA, 6F7 is the LDCMB. both of the LDCMs and door modules are unique in that they are exactly the same except for their address. anything that works in the LDCMA will work in the LDCMB and vice versa, also true for the DDM and PDM
According to the wiring diagrams, if there are no DDM or PDM, the turn signal wiring comes from the BCM. All may not be lost... still need to open a door and look...Update: My car, GT Premium 401A with Recaro seats, does NOT have DDM and PDM.
Unfortunately I can't enable turn signals on the side mirrors since I have no DDM and PDM.
Worst day of the month.
Perhaps 7E0-02-02 Radiator Flow Control Options (RFCO) for shutters... no one has figured out the amber DRLs as far as I know...Hey all, i have an item I need to get changed, and one id like to change. I read through all the posts here and didn’t see any reference. And looked through the spreadsheet, but may have missed it.
first one, on my 2024 Saleen ( that started as a GT) I needed to remove the active grill shutters to install the emergency lighting and siren speakers. I left the motor and frame, just removed the actual shutters. This is causing a check engine light due to “shutter stop performance failure” or something similar. Basically the motor is not seeing the resistance of the fins stopping at full open or close. Is there a forscan code I can change to disable the shutters completely? On my 2018 f150, when I removed those shutters I had zero issues.
second item I would LIKE to have, is the amber DRLs like the GTD. Has that function been found yet? Since the lights are full amber when a turn signal is active, I would think it could be added.
thanks in advance for the help!
Which module is reporting the code?my 2024 Saleen ( that started as a GT) I needed to remove the active grill shutters to install the emergency lighting and siren speakers. I will have to go back and check. I didn’t look that hard into it when I was looking at the DTC. I did clear it, it stayed clear for about 20min of driving and the check engine light came back on.Which module is reporting the code?
Maybe turn it back to factory setting and see if it goes away?I’m still having keyfob range issues. still very convinced walk away lock is causing this
