I know for a fact that the 2012-2014 GT500 was eligible for x-plan and ford employee days.

But I do have one question, does the dealer make less money if they allow the client to use x-plan? I would imagine the rebate would come from Ford Motor Co and the only thing dealer loses is the waived admin fee.
From the Ford site on X plans Q & A;

25. Do Dealers make a profit on Plan purchases and/or leases?
Yes. Dealers receive a commission from Ford Motor Company on each Plan transaction.

I think mine has elected to beat X-plan with me, and mark up their own admin fee, since X-plan caps that at $100, and then has a discreet charge for gas versus the dealers "complimentary" tank of gas. I don't care how they do it, so long as the money is right.

Have them bring the car back and look for a more ethical dealer. In my purchase of a 2015 Mustang vert, I asked a dealer if they would "accept" X-Plan pricing and their Internet salesman said, " I can accept X-Plan, but our price is below that". What??? Below X-Plan, really?! And yes it was. So shop around...deals exist.
Yeah but a $500 doc fee vs $100 doc fee and you may not be paying less. Believe me the dealer is making more by not using the Xplan.

dealers can easily beat x-plan if they want to. BUt X-plan is fair for both.

proof? My dealer took and used my PIN because they made more and I saved 200 whole bucks using X-plan. This was December when the first retail orders where built, yes most dealers are cheaper now. Then they wanted MSRP+.

I told my dealer I wanted to use X-Plan, ordered the car X-plan price and upon pick up of my Mustang I never game him my PIN nor did they ask for it. I still got the Mustang for the price we agreed on when I initially ordered it.

Yeah, X-plan is a good priced for new model vehicles (i.e. ordering the 2016 it's a solid price) but at this point most dealers should be able to beat X-plan pricing for 2015s they have in stock. The deals on 2015s will get even better in August/September when 2016s start arriving.

I bet you could get a 2015 GT Premium w/PP + Nav for $35k OTD come August. That's like 6-7k off MSRP.

Looks like Ford deployed an incorrect certificate today 6/21/15. The certificate is for www.axz.ford.com instead of www.fordparter.com :doh:

I doubt it, the old cert expired so they updated it with an incorrect one. :doh:

Can you still get a x-plan pin by joining the Mustang Club of America or do the dealers not accept that anymore?

X-plan is x-plan. Doesn't matter if it comes from MCA or another source. The only requirement is that your pin is valid and for MCA you need to be a member for 6 months before your pin is valid.

wrong info my friend, you must have a membership that is valid for 6 or more months, I got my pin the same day I signed up and used it 3 weeks later.
