No, I don't mean with their most recent marketing campaign either, marketing choices good or bad don't really impact how I view the final product. But just look at this design, what the actual hell Jag?

Here's the thing, I understand Jag wants this to be a 200-300k sedan, they've said they're going upmarket and this is their flagship. I get that when you're selling a very expensive flagship model, you want it to stand out. But this just isn't it imo.

Now obviously, this is just a small portion of the design, when we see the whole thing on Dec. 2nd, it could be out of this world stunning. But I feel like this is the wrong direction, especially for a brand like Jag that had such a well received design language. This new design looks to be... unique.

Ranks right up there with their “bud light” commercial.
No thanks.

amateur hour at Jag branding.
looks cheap. This rebrand will be rebranded inside 5 years and they’ll defend this by calling it a “market disruption.”

autoblog seems all for it though.

go to jaguar website and prepare to be greeted by a copycat of the most outlandish Tik tok, lil nas x shoots, and drag queen lookalikes. Yet the marketing tagline is “copy nothing.” LOL.

Seems like the typical hiring people for lead positions that try to cater the company to an audience that isn't even interested in their cars. And of course they will blame everyone else if that fails hard.

They're clearly going out of business.
Jaguar have been going out of business for decades, and I say this as a serial Jag owner and major fan of the brand. Were it not for the runaway success of Land Rover over the last 15 years or so, they'd be gone already. It's a real shame.

I've started to see Cybertrucks on the streets in the Greater Toronto Area. In fact on my train rides in there is a yard where they store them before shipping/owners grab them. 100+ of them parked.

What an odd looking vehicle.

From the glimpse of this Jag, looks to be drinking from the same bottle.

I really don’t care for Jaquars but I love Land Rovers when I was four wheeling in my time in Colorado!!

arent Canadian insurance companies refusing to insure it due to it being called an armored vehicle? or just refusing to insure it outright? also, i promise you that lot is only going to get more full. see the various lots in the US filled with unsellable CyberStucks because not many want them and they have tons of issues
