You are overthinking it (Donāt we all). If you want to go full syn (because you want to) just do it from the get go. No need to wait. Itās only a few extra dollars. š
That's funny. I tore down the filter on my 15' EB and 19' GT/CS after 5K miles and both were clean. Same with the oil. Didn't beat on my car either. Well, OK, I did get on the brakes to seat the pads but that's another topic.
There are two schools of thought regarding break in. I've never, ever beat on a car during its 1st thousand miles and have never had an issue. But beating on a car, any car, can create issues you don't want. Either way there is no "need" to do a 1000 mile change but there is certainly no harm in...
My 19ā GT/CS just turned five years old and 15,000 miles. Boulevard cruiser with no track use. Oil gets changed at 5000 miles or one year. Always use syn blend. Oil always comes out clean and with no issues. Did the same with my 15ā EB with 51,000 miles. This was my work daily (75 miles a day)...
Check your current software version. If you are on 6.xxx then itās the same for all models And you should get it.
By the way do you have the Fox Body option?
You are way overthinking this. This is a one off collaboration between Ford and gear-head Sydney Sweeney. The new car is a homage to her actual 1965 Mustang. Thatās why the colors are what they are and the chrome.
Thanks @Upacurb. Iām sitting on a tour bus. My wife and 40 other people think Iām nuts because Iām laughing so hard. Keep up the good work!! šš¤£šš¤£
Everyone knows the Coyote is a high revving engine with a little to be desired on the bottom end. The A10 certainly helps in that regard. But unless you drive a well broken in S650 with premium fuel your conclusions cannot be totally valid.
If you are OK with the loss of power then 87 is fine butā¦ā¦ā¦..unlike the V8 that loss is significant. I always used 91/93 in my 15ā EB. As stated before use a top tier gas and experiment with different brands. There are differences so find the one your car runs best on.
What is wrong with you? Obviously this is not a car for you or me but that means they shouldn't build it? This is a flagship vehicle and every manufacturer with has one or wants to build one.
And by the way, where can you get a real GT40 for $150,000 today?
And by the way #2, Ford sold every...
