I chose the 10-Speed Auto over thr 6 Speed because I’m 76 yrs. Old & have Tit
Proper diet and exercise should help address that.

I ordered the 10r80 for a few reasons, I have owned a lot of manuals in my day but in 2019 decided to buy a Rabbit Edition GTI with the 7spd DSG out of the "R". It took a bit getting used to but after I did I realized it was actually faster and there was no way I could do the dreaded "Money Downshift"
Being able to put the 10r80 in D will be a huge pleasure driving SoCal freeways but I wish it was a dual clutch not automatic.
Plus I have a 10r80 in my Ranger and it has been flawless towing my 4000lb trailer for 4yrs and about 24,000mi.

Same here.. damn SoCal traffic forced my hand.
Getting stuck in stop and go traffic is the worst.

I am what you would call a Automatic basher. :)

But i got the A10 because right now to get a new car with front engine, RWD, convertible and a V8 the mustang is the only car.

**** that getrag pos M6.

I've been driving manuals for 25 years. My last manual was in a big city with a lot of traffic and since I have not moved, I bought the 10-speed. Convenience and I love the paddles now when I downshift, especially with the H-pipe LOL

My current 2021 GT Premium is boosted so I went with the A10 knowing I was going to SC it.
My Dark Horse Premium will be a 6 speed because tremec and I'm not going to boost this one.

Daily driving in stop and go traffic to the office, and a bad left knee - not a good combination for a manual no matter how much fun it is to drive one. Plus the A10 is stronger anyway.

After owning many cars with manual shift, I just got tired of shifting gears. I've had two Shelby's with the 6 speed TREMEC. The TREMEC is better than the GT transmission.
With the improvements they have made with automatics, my performance vote goes to the auto.
So far I really like the 10-speed auto in my 2024 GT.
And, LOL! it's an equalizer between the GEEZER and the Young pup!
