I get the same feeling since my A-10 Auto has 3:15 gears. It is slow on the take-off. At high rpm's it's O.K. The BULLITTS I owned in the past had 3:73 gears. They were just right.
About three weeks ago, I took my 2024 GT that has been in heated storage off the battery tender. I took it to the local Ford Dealer for a State Inspection and oil change. When I got home, I put it back on the battery tender and covered the car since our Spring weather hadn't arrived. Today, I...
Opinions are like elbows! Everybody has one. It's best to shut this thread down and discuss what's good about the S650.
I have yet to see the perfect car!
I think 550 vs. 650 is just an argument between young people and old people. Young people were brought up with a cell phone in their cradle. Older folks tend to try to keep things simple. In the 60's and 70's cars had a simple lever, right is hot, left is cold. Change it without looking.
The...
I bought a black car since I didn't like the sharp contrast of the black grille surroundings vs. lighter colors.
Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles must still work in the Ford design workshop.
Save your money on cold air and buy good cleaning products for your car. All the items added will not get you a return on your money. A clean well-maintained car is the route to go. If you want something faster, then you bought the wrong car!
I own your car as a 2024! Black is beautiful especially with the Bronze Package. Yes, dust, finger prints, etc. are a problem with black.
I usually use two fingers on the GT Emblem to pull it down. I also carry detailer and a cloth.
Will the updates continue when the 3/36 warranty expires? Will Ford charge after that for an update via the service department? In ten years will the vehicle be obsolete?
I can understand the OP's frustration. I do a lot of car cruises and car shows. People walk up to me and always comment...beautiful car but I couldn't put up with those stupid screens!
I have a 2025 GMC Terrain. The screen is large and just so much easier to operate.
Be honest folks, Ford could...
Wiley,
Same here! I would like to trade my 2024 GT but I would need to stop at Walmart for a jar of Vaseline first. BTW...it's Truck Month at Chevy, Ford, and Dodge Dealers!!
Our local Ford Dealer in Butler, PA shows two 60th vehicles. One MSRP is $64755, Sale price $56,266 the other MSRP is $60,565. Sale price $51,542.
Both are hard tops/coupes. They have been there for a while. Both are 6-speeds.
Congrats on the trade!! They are a very unique car. Just asking, did they kill you on a one-year trade. I've been thinking of doing the same.
My 24 has 1600 miles on it...
I've considered trading for a 60th. In the past, all the BULLITS and Shelby's I've owned have held their value very well. Mach 1's are doing well. 50th Anniversary cars are in the $30K range. In my area there are two Anniversary cars on the lot. One is $60,565, reduced to $51,542, the other is...
Let's be honest! Young people buy automatics so that it frees up a hand to play with the SCREEN! This is the PACIFIER for them.
BTW, I have an A-10 Auto. It works. It's not as much fun but it will bring you across the finish line a lot quicker.
Buy what you want!!
If you are old school you will not e happy with a S650. The dash will drive you crazy. Buy a low mile S550 and save some money. Unless you are very TECH SAVY, you will be disappointed with a S650. BTW...you will lose at least $10k the first year of ownership on a S650. And, the cars are very...
