As I mentioned, the FORD dealer in Florida sent a text to my friend who is in Ireland this week on vacation. The text by the salesperson indicated that his new 2026 ECO BOOST was available since the recall had been lifted. When he gets back and speaks with the dealer, he and I will know more.

If you are changing all these codes and settings you are setting yourself up for disaster. Just put up with all the new and improved features or buy a 64 1/2 Mustang without all the inconveniences! If you need to make changes then you bought the wrong car!

It was so nice in the 90's and early 2000's when you could buy a car and drive it for three years without numerous recalls. When I turned the key, the dash immediately functioned and I didn't have to wait to download a spinning car. My 2024 is 90% excellent and 10% JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!

The Dark Horse will be back with a higher price and fewer standard options IMHO!

I called my dealer this morning, 7/6. After checking he told me that all the 25's and 26's out there are on STOP SALE which could last until March 2027. He's one of the largest dealers in Pittsburgh, PA. He said it was over the wiper/washer recall!

He has had two or three ECO's prior to this purchase and was happy with what they had to offer for his needs. It is what it is...

All I know is this...there's a very disappointed buyer in Florida who did not get a new 2026 ECO BOOST on Friday afternoon 7/3 because of a stop sale. And that's a fact. Maybe on Monday morning FORD will clarify the issue.

BTW...my friend was buying the car with no trade, cash deal, no financing.

Then why was my friend not able to buy a 2026 Mustang yesterday? He said the General Sales Manager said...No car, stop sale issued by FORD!!!!
