Presumably as you already have the car, you’ll just keep driving it until the part is available? I can’t imagine anyone handing over their Mustang just to have it sit on a Dealership lot for what could be 9+ months waiting for a part…
My dealer explicitly blocks me from taking it in for the recall, as parts are not available until March.

Even if they didn't stop me, I wouldn't take it in until they could fix it within a few days' time.

My friend in Florida who was buying a new 2026 ECO BOOST and had the sale halted JUST GOT A CALL FROM THE DEALERSHIP SAYING THE RECALL WAS LIFTED AND HE COUD NOW HAVE THE CAR....

Im awaiting delivery of my vapour blue dark horse and eagerly awaiting news on this.
Any more info on this/confirmation from your friend in florida?
Im in the uk and unsure whether you guys will have a remedy first or not?

As I mentioned, the FORD dealer in Florida sent a text to my friend who is in Ireland this week on vacation. The text by the salesperson indicated that his new 2026 ECO BOOST was available since the recall had been lifted. When he gets back and speaks with the dealer, he and I will know more.
