I will be replacing a 2022 WRX which replaced a 2015 WRX. I went with a WRX for a second time because I believed I still needed AWD. But now that I work from home, I don't need AWD. Plus the WRX was just too slow for me. Sure I could have modded it and gotten a good amount of power out of the new 2.4 liter engine, but I really want that V8 roar! Anyway, I ordered a base GT in Vapor Blue with the Performance Pack, Night Pony Pack, 301A, active exhaust, red brake calipers.

I was seriously considering one of those but the lack of standard safety features and auto rev match were a deal breaker. Also heard the exhaust can drone quite badly.

Still a great car. Since I moved to Ocala, FL 3 years ago, I can't get good service. I don't like the looks of the new models either.

Inspired by threads with different main topics, I thought it would be interesting to see what cars people are replacing with their new Mustang and why?

I have a 2003, Corvette Z06 that I will be selling soon. Other than being 20 years old, with only 30k miles on it, there's nothing wrong with it. Sometimes, you just get tired of seeing the same old car in your garage. I guess I just wanted something new, and this seemed like one of the last chances that any of us might have to buy a brand new V8 muscle car.
I am coming from a 2021 Jeep 4Xe.
Prior to that I had 3 different Challengers (‘11, ‘14, ‘19).
Prior to that, I had three different Sebring convertibles (‘96, ‘01, ‘06).
