I purchased a new 2020 GT 500 and it was great but it really had too much power imo. The car would literally break loose just driving around when you weren't nailing it. Fun at first then it started stressing me out lol. 500hp is about perfect imo.
It's beautiful! Don't supercharge it, it will lose all of it's value and it's snappy throttle response! Autotrader is loaded with S550's that have super low miles that are worthless because the owner supercharged them!
I have been thinking about getting a 23 or 24 M240i xdrive. Can you give me your thoughts on it as a replacement for my 2016 GT?
I have owned the last 2 model M4 Comps the 2021 was non awd, and a 2020 M2 CS (100k) none of which could get the power down and were very squirrely. The cars did eat...
I know how the magazines and car reviewers like the GT350. I love it's look even more than the S650 but I personally don't like it's ride characteristics. I was bummed a little about it. It's obviously just me...? I can deal with a rough ride so that's not it. The ride is bouncy to my perception...
I used to own most of those cars all at once. I recently sold most of them to invest in my business. I have a 24 Tundra I DD. I have a 23 M240i, I drive the Mustang on the weekends and maybe a day or two during the week. I can't imagine the GT350 beating any of the cars I mentioned lol. I have...
As someone who has owned just about everything Mclarens. Ferrari, Audi R8, 911 turbos, caymans, boxsters ,NSX,ZL1,C6 and C7 Z06 several ,Grand sports, 2 GT500's. I can tell you what I think the transition would be. I have a 24 GT Premium with 10 speed, PP, magride. Upgraded exhaust. You will...
I run 19's and am very happy with them but in reality smaller wheels should improve ride/fuel economy and possibly road damage. Larger wheels look and handle better. It's a trade-off.
My first try in sport mode just stabbing the gas on a less than stellar back road netted me a 3.8 second on my draggy. The second run was a 4.2. I have upgraded the exhaust system since and can't wait till spring to try again. I did have all seasons on the car not the Pirelli's. I believe...
I owned a C6 427 and I couldn't beat a civic type R (sad) because my shifting is only average. I had a C7 Z06 and I was able to rock in that after installing a short shifter but many many people could have done it better.
I installed Extreme Contact DWS06 Plus tires and never looked back. For street driving they work great and they hook up amazing. Not sure I will re-install the Pirelli P zero's this spring.
I have put the michelins on 2 high performance cars and they have disappointed me. I went with the Continentals this time on my 24GT and I am seriously happy with them! They hook up great and they have faster turn in than the Michelins. Someone mentioned you can push the Michelins harder which...
The Tariff's are on top of spot prices??? Ford is going to buy at spot or some agreed upon markup from spot which has NOTHING to do with a Tariff. The Tarif just makes the metal from China less appealing..
