Got my build notice of April 9th from my salesman last night so I went in the dealership to inquire about rates. Got locked in for 1.9% and even if rates go up before I take possession my rate will not go up. I am sure non of my other lenders can match this rate so Ford it is.

I agree with you 100% and those with a 800 score I agree with you 100% and even with a 800 score a 95% loan for 84 months will probably be over 6%. The “bet” was made that I would pay over 6.9% without knowing any of my loan terms and I have better rates than that already

Are you in for another $1,000.00:). I am sure there are some people out there with 800 credit score who do pay 6.9 or higher but if so they need to shop around more.

I promise not to use any of Sams money/incentives although both banks here that I use can (and are) beating 6.9. Pretty loyal to a CU in a northern state

Been paying very close attention to rates almost daily for the last 25 years so I will rephrase...she said 6.9 for a credit score of 800 and I knew she was lying OR the customer was a fool for using her lender.

When she told me that rate for an 800 score I didn’t believe anything else she said.

When she quoted me that rate I should have just walked out then instead of wasting another 15 minutes with her. I found it unbelievable that she could say this with a straight face

The first dealer we spoke with about a 2024 GT told us she just approved a guy with an 800 credit score for 6.9% so we should expect about the same...this was about 30 days ago. We were only going to finance about 10k and she knew that....needless to say we did not buy from her or the dealership.

I am selling my C7 Z51 when my S650 GT gets closer to arriving....my C7 has crazy acceleration and I won't mind a drop in performance since I never have pushed my C7 near it's limits anyway.

Worst experience ever from the first sales jockey…. just kept saying “too busy” to get together today and this went on for over a week. Second dealer had everything done in less than an hour and I got my initial email from Ford the next day thanking me for the order and explaining the process.

Ordered my GT premium vert about a week ago and then found out about the X plan a couple of days ago and my dealer is still honoring it. Saved about $3,100.00
