From a Ford 2017 Mustang Ecoboost (Roush Performance Cold Air Intake with Calibration tune and Roush Performance Axle Back exhaust setup) to a 2020 Ford Mustang GT (Ford Performance Cold Air Intake with Calibration tune and Ford Performance Catback Sport exhaust setup) to my now 2024 S650 in Oxford White Performance Package with Active Exhaust.

I’m having “another” Love Affair with this one as I had with my previous models!!

I had 2 GT's back-to-back, a 2005 and then a 2019. I got rid of the 19 for my current ride, a 2021 Jeep Gladiator but my lease is up in 3 months and I'm not keen on keeping the Jeep so I ordered a 2024 in Rapid Red with all the goodies!!!!!

Inspired by threads with different main topics, I thought it would be interesting to see what cars people are replacing with their new Mustang and why?

I have a 2003, Corvette Z06 that I will be selling soon. Other than being 20 years old, with only 30k miles on it, there's nothing wrong with it. Sometimes, you just get tired of seeing the same old car in your garage. I guess I just wanted something new, and this seemed like one of the last chances that any of us might have to buy a brand new V8 muscle car.
How coincidental, I am trading in my '01 C5 Z51 Cpe (6 spd) which I ordered from the factory. I have loved it and really enjoyed it (mileage: 31K). But it's time to let her go. I placed my order for a Dark Horse through my local dealership back in early September. Still no word on a production date. As an aside I've owned 4 Stangs in the past...two of them were GT's (1 was an LX 5.0) and I loved them all.

In a roundabout way my 24 replaced a 2011 Sterling Gray V6 Pony Package that I bought new. Sold it last August due to selling my house with 3 car garage having 3 vehicles and moving into new home with 2 car garage. I later sold my 66 El Camino and was down to one vehicle. The GT beat out the Lexus for my second vehicle. Appears grandpa stills likes the sound of a V8 Coyote in exhaust track mode. Won’t be long before my neighbors will telling me I’m #1 with one finger up.

Replaced my 2019 EcoBoost with performance package, automatic, red interior package, Recaro seats, and active exhaust.

It was my wife's suggestion that I get the GT and I found one with active exhaust, performance pack, magneride, and automatic.

The Z06 is a great car! I enjoyed the grand sport but I’m ready for a change. Original date was 10/2 but delayed until 10/23. Fingers crossed but not holding my breath.
If you Hold your breath you can change your names to Mr. Blue.
I know it’s tough waiting & watching.

Yes, I turn 68 next week and still have an inner kid in me. Got to stay young in heart. Life is too short to be the cranky old guy down the street.

I will be selling first new car that i bought which is a Hyundai i20N. I live in Europe and having a V8 Mustang has always been a dream of mine. I will miss my little hothatch but my DH will for sure make it up in smiles per km! 😁

Also i will be using my DH as a daily, regardless of the weather!
