Tankdelly, as roadpilot said: "Don't hold your breath!" Mine was ordered through a dealer allocation on 1 Sep 23...and as of today it's still in the "Unscheduled- Clean" catagory...I'll be lucky if I get mine in August myself.
Thanks, I hope so. BTW, my last Stang was an S197 ā06 GT (Windveil Blue). I sold it three days after I ordered the DH (17 yrs old with 34Kmiles on her, a āgarage queenāalong ā01 C5 as a stablemate LOL)ā¦I miss that ride for sure.
Well, I guess mine may show up in July/August...I was the sixth and final DH allocation at my dealership (Beach Ford in VA Beach) and they have been keeping me apprised of my order weekly. Their first allotment was an order they were required to do (according to them) and it arrived full DH...
Iām a ābaby boomerā and Iāve owned 2 Corvettes, 3 Camaros, and 5 Mustangs during my lifetimeā¦of the 38 cars that Iāve owned during my lifetime 15 of them were Ford or Lincolnā¦yes, I think that Ford should consider me āentitled .ā
DHL and YamenGT650, Ford had said that the DH would be a limited production...obviously this is not true. I just find it inappropriate that DH's are being sent out of country before fulfilling all domestic "special orders" like mine. Once Ford has completed that task, then they can farm out...
Will the Front Rock Guards cover up those gapping holes in the fender liner behind the front tires? Heard that a lot of sand, gravel, rocks, etc., get kicked up into there.
I remember seeing a video a while back showing some Australian Race Drivers checking out the new Dark Horse. Just wondering how many "Right-Hand Drive" Dark Horses does Ford plan on delivering to them...and what about their chasis numbers? Do their numbers get mixed in with the ones in the U.S...
Thatās neatā¦but I think it protrudes a little too much and gives more of āmud guardā lookā¦I guess it could be trimmed a bit closer to the fender. And the hole would still be covered.
Itās too bad that Ford canāt simply acknowledge/address this situation and tell us that the holes serve a purpose and what that purpose is AND tell us that if the rocker panel fills up with gravel, stones, etc., that you can take it to your dealer and have them clean them out even if your...
I'vd ordered the base DH with the more "subdued" spoiler. I think the HP spoiler is a bit "too much" and kind of lends itself to the "ricer" look...but, to each his own. Everyone has their preference. I do like the HP front splitter...
And unfortunately, Mustangs like Camaros, cost more to insure. When I bought my '94 Vette, my insurance $400 less every six months than a '94 Camaro Z28...why? Because the Camaro was involved in more accidents, stolen more, driven by a younger crowd and not garaged as much as the Vette. The...
If you have the the 600A package (standard) on Dark Horse...you will NOT have the puddle lights (Dark Horse Emblem shining on the ground beside your door (eminating from your side mirror). You must opt for the $5K optional 700A package to get them...also includes the "welcome lights," Homelink...
While you're under the vehicle, be sure the dealer installed the rubber "strakes" (air deflectors attached to the frame behind your front wheels)...you should be able to seem them...some dealers have been neglecting to install them.
I agree with you...I ordered mine with the 6000A trim, no Recaros(tried them in a DH on a showroom floor and found them uncomfortable), auto, and NO handling pack.
BTW, DTech now makes an Auto Stop Start eliminator plug in harness for the 2024 Mustang. It does involve removing your screen and a dash board panel behind the screenā¦hopefully when you put it back together you wonāt have any annoying rattles. Thanks Ford for installing this totally useless and...
