Just wanted to ask if this is the experience of others as well. When the car is at idle, or just after I turn it off, the exhaust makes some crackling noises. It’s not dissimilar from the typewriter tick of the engine, but it’s coming directly from both sides of the exhaust with nothing from the...
Noticed this on my seat (about the mid-back) after a long drive today. I wasn't wearing anything that could have done this…. just a black sweater. I tried removing it but no dice. Hoping something will work. Very annoying.
I can't speak to the specifics of how you did it, but anytime you remove a sticker like this from a car (or anything else, honestly, where residue might remain), make sure you hit it with heat. For the visor, leaving it with the sticker facing the sun for several hours should make it come off...
I drove my 2006 Mustang V6 for 18 years, and I still made a quarter of what I paid for it it back. (Granted, it would have cost a lot more in 2023 dollars when I sold it.)
Smart move. I did the same as you. For someone like me that daily drives like 6 miles a day and doesn't race, I have more than I need. That extra cash can be used elsewhere.
Beautiful car, by the way! Grabber Blue with Nite Pony is one of my favorite combinations.
The Performance Pack spoiler looks very similar to the standard Dark Horse spoiler in person. I didn't even realize there was a difference at first when seeing them side by side. I'd say get one of those in gloss black. Would look sick contrasting with Grabber Blue.
Yeah... feels kind of silly there aren't front sensors or a camera on these. At the very least it should be an option, especially on the higher-end models.
I didn't want to post two threads, but I have two separate issues.
The first is the battery. I got the car in October 2023, and it was one of those that was probably sitting around as it was built in June of that year. It's been my daily driver ever since. In recent months, I drive it to work...
The more expensive the car the more noticeable the depreciation. Plus, it doesn't seem like many people are in a hurry to trade up their S550s for S650s. I live in a huge urban area and still don't see very many of them on the roads over a year later. Dealers, however, tend to have quite a few...
This is a bit of a rant as someone tried to steal gas from my car overnight.
What reason would a nearly $60K car in this day and age not have a locking gas door? There’s no gas cap below the door either, so it would seem to me especially important that the door have a way to secure itself...
Affordable and Mustang is becoming less and less of a thing. I was watching Jay Leno's Garage the other day and he had a guy from Ford on there who said a 1960s (can't remember which) Mustang would cost $19,000 in today's dollars. When an actual GT costs at least twice that (or 3x that depending...
I've noticed what the car says (as well as the FordPass app) is sometimes different from what is actually measured by manually checking the car. Not by a lot, but by 2lbs or so.
This weekend marks one full year with the Ghost. I felt like it was a good time to share my thoughts and mark the occasion.
This is my second Mustang but my first GT, and the first manual I've ever owned. After my last Mustang, an S197 that I bought brand new (essentially as a kid) and drove...
Normal with the Performance Package. Not sure why though other than it just being an extra perk that comes with the Dark Horse where both sides are open.
