Just asking the question as this is what I decided to do:

Why not get the roof, and mirrors wrapped black after? Could also sell your rims and buy black ones if you'd like.
Honestly? Lazyness. I plan on wrapping the entire car myself anyway, its a bit of a hobby, but I know nothing about rims and dont feel like going through the hassle of selling/buying.

Hey to each their own but at that point I would say drop NP and get the car sooner! Getting new rims is a breeze. Though selling old ones would probably take some time...

Do you have a wrap colour in mind? I was so hoping the orange from the S550 would be available but its not...I might have mine wrapped in that colour.

I plan to wrap the hood and roof in matte black, not 100% set yet but thats the plan, as for the rest of the car I've yet to decide

Sadly I'd rather wait at least a little longer. I'm just not willing to drive a vehicle I don't like. and i HATE the look of the s550's, and hate camaros even more. After another month or 2 I may just lease a vehicle temporarily, but for now I'm okay.
I’m with you on hating the s550 look, I’m all for the exterior of the Camaros with a zl1 bumper. But yeah aslong as you don’t need a vehicle right now I’d wait for the s650.

You can get them powdercoated black for about $150 per rim.

And i know a lot of people will probably think im stupid for insisting on NP when im wrapping the car anyway, but the extra $1000 is worth not having to deal with the hassle of finding / selling rims. Though its criminal that the stock rims aren't wider to begin with.

I salute your resilience but damn , youre paying 1000 dollars extra and waiting for months over some black wheels that are comically undersized anyways

Yeah I understand the counterside to it without a doubt. At the same time though its letting me save up more and more for the downpayment, which will just mean lower payments so theres at least some upside.

I'm assuming cancelling with them and moving to someone else would be pointless and move me to the back of the line though? and probably better to just wait it out?
I agree. I know waiting for a car for 4 months or longer seems a little ridiculous, but I think you'd find the same thing with any brand. Our son waited 5 months for a Toyota Corolla. I guess the only alternative might be finding one on a lot with the options you want.

14 months for 2022 Corvette. No crying about 4 months for a Mustang.
Yup. I have friends who've waited nearly 2 years for C8 Corvette. I was in the 30's on the waiting list with my dealer for a C8 Stingray, and well over 100 for a C8 Z06. I knew in reality I'd never see the Z06, and took a pass on the Stingray when they called and said my order number came up. I'm excited about my Mustang.
