As of right now... s550s GTs have run 11.8s at 119 100% stock

Need to wait for the Temps to get better to see if S650 do the same ...

It's a fucking 5.0 mustang on a RWD platform that's electronically limited to 155 anyway, who the fuck cares which one is .0001 seconds faster to 60. If you don't like it don't fucking buy it, simple as. Quit being a bunch of fucking 14 year olds and move the fuck on. If you cared about fucking 0-60 you would get a used 2014 gt500 for 50-60k for a low 3 second or a tesla for low 2.

Ford claims the only difference in dh and gt engine is the tune and rods. But looks like the timing is the same on both (both max at 26ish) which kind of adds up from the dyno's we've seen so far. So I guess the question would be is the gt underrated or is the dh overrated?

Most of the hate is coming from the S550 crowd who don't see this car as enough of a change to justify the upgrade/added costs from inflation. Me personally I love almost every aspect of it when compared to the 2010 I'm upgrading from. The only thing I'll really miss from the 2010 is the kona blue, but I've always liked the look of grabber blue so I'm not to upset over it. I'm hoping it gets here in the next couple weeks.

I'm upgrading from a 2013, so I think it's going to be quite a change for me.

The fact that the numbers are low and that we still don't know if the S650 is faster than the S550 because we hope that the car will produce more power after the break in period is already a sign that this car is slower.

People are just hoping and waiting that some miracle would happen.

Now people even use weather, tire or extra passenger as a argument why the S650 is slow.

When you have to use these things as an argument, you already know the answer.

The S550 is lighter and faster.

This argument makes no logical sense. The S650 is slower because you don't know how fast it is or because you aren't willing to compare apples to apples? Cringey.

Everyone running these cars before break in is giving them a bad rep. I’d like to see an A10 GT with 3.55s and over 1000 miles run the 1/4 under the same exact conditions as a s550 with the same setup before people jump to the conclusion that a car with more hp and slightly more weight is slower.
