Lol as someone with HRE Ff10s, as well as the FP extreme active valve with DH rear valence i can confirm it's a good choice, also there's a whole thread on the forum for those kits...
Downforce is a different question entirely, the GTD has both more peak downforce and less straight line downforce thanks to its active aero vs the static aero on the ZR1
if we look at the S550, 2027/28
if we look at the S197 (more likely imo) 2029/2030
i say more likely because of the socioeconomic situation of the S197 period more closely matches today
just popping in to answer this, no the stock spare donut will not clear the Brembo Brakes, hence why Ford drops it for the PP. there's a thread somewhere on here that shows some aftermarket options that do clear the brakes and fit in the storage area but i cant find it right now
still the same situation, price goes up because you rely on outsourced materials. Actual Ford vehicles are going to be hit even more as MORE of their stuff is made outside the US and only assembled inside the US.
its just a warning saying the camera behind the rear view mirror isnt able to detect properly, since the system runs off that it disables it as a safety measure. could be weather, could be bugs on the windshield, ive had it trip because of sun glare a few times.
The issue with drilling is the process causes microfractures around the hole during manufacturing, this weakens the overall rotor as heat expansipn cycles cause those microfractures to expand over time.
hot take:
Shelbys an overhyped, overpriced sticker name now that the old man is dead. Ford is better served moving on.
Less hot take:
The S650 body design is what the S550 should have been, not that eurocar wannabe that it was.
I know lol, I'm only 28 and got mine a year and a half ago. I ended up financing mine because I work a steady career with job security for the forseable future so it was easy to plan out a payment path and splurge on what I want knowing that it'll be paid off when that forseable future finally...
Today I stared at this web page, saved enough for the kit, but not enough for the installation so ive got to hold off one or two more months
But man it's going to be awesome when I do get this done
yeah, its not like im waking up and starting my car, save for when its below 0, my morning routine is dress, start the car, take a piss, walk out. usually takes 5ish minutes due to how far the garage is from my apartment
