    60th Anniversary Mustang - Coming April 17th

i like how every fucking topic on this forum eventually descends into a shit throwing contest. imo itll probably be an update to add more gauge clusters and maybe some thematic updates. itll also probably be the best time to show any Shelby badged car if there is one just due to the theme of...

2025 Mustang GTD Spy Shots from I-70

carbon fiber is fucking expensive, they ***could*** give us something like the GT3 for DH money, but that will just be a modified GT with fancy body bits, no 5.2 supercharged V8, no transaxle transmission, no 50/50 weight balance, no carbon fiber chassis, etc. i get that people want a cheaper...

Looks like the FP800s parts can be ordered individually

Probably an issue with Borla then since they only started showing off the exhaust a couple weeks ago.

Looks like the FP800s parts can be ordered individually

Idk who you ordered through then FP has had them listed in the 6-12 month new section for a while, and Borla still has them listed as "notify when available" Either way I can wait for it, just dropped a bunch of money on new wheels and tires anyway.

2025 Mustang GTD Spy Shots from I-70

Because "road race" vehicles are restricted in how much power they can output, usually between 500-600hp depending on BOP for that race. With Fords gt3 having a 5.4L v8 no forced induction is needed to make that level of power. The real reason series like F1 use turbos is simply because those...

Looks like the FP800s parts can be ordered individually

That wait makes sense when you consider FP still has the exhausts listed as 4-6 months out on the website

Looks like the FP800s parts can be ordered individually

after seeing the announcement for the FP supercharger that the 800s would come with i decided to look into the remainder of the parts, so far ive seen Ford Performance list the exhaust on their website its 3k for the catback with 5" tips, it also includes the DH rear valance for GTs...

1 set of UHP All Seasons OR summers + winters?

nothing wrong with not wanting to go narrow on the tires, just be aware that in heavy snow and ice conditions a wider tire will hurt more than it will help, you can offset that by putting a bunch of weight in your trunk, but a narrower tire will help as well in those conditions.

1 set of UHP All Seasons OR summers + winters?

What I did with my 2010 back when I was living in New Hampshire. Stock wheels for winters, second set of larger wheels square setup, for UHP summers, swap out every November/April and rotate every swap to maximize life all around.

Car's first hiccup: POWERTRAIN MALFUCTION/REDUCED POWER

Yes, when the battery disconnects it will stop providing power to the car causing it to drop all non-long term storage items. Hard codes like serious engine faults or stuff like magneride if you have it get stored so will persist through it though.

Car's first hiccup: POWERTRAIN MALFUCTION/REDUCED POWER

Like the others said, do the negative one, black, instead, same outcome.

Car's first hiccup: POWERTRAIN MALFUCTION/REDUCED POWER

See I've always heard it the other way around, if there's a short and the ground isn't attached it could fuck up the system.

Car's first hiccup: POWERTRAIN MALFUCTION/REDUCED POWER

Just the positive connection (the red one) disconnect that for a minute or two that'll cut all power to the car including its standby systems, that will force the car to completely reboot and wipe any non-stored codes. It'll also reset your dash layout to factory so don't forget to save your...

Car's first hiccup: POWERTRAIN MALFUCTION/REDUCED POWER

Funny enough, just had this happen to me today. Solution: disconnect the battery and let the system reset itself. If it comes back again this week I'll take it to my dealer but I'm fairly certain it's the battery.

Quality is not job One at Flatrock

normally i would agree, but when theres 58 other cars on track doing the same thing with 0 issues then it really is a build problem, especially when you also have parts flying off from simple taps in the corners that other cars would normally shrug off and not lose the entire rear end over. Dont...

Quality is not job One at Flatrock

well if it makes anyone here feel better just know that Ford cant even build the racecars right, parts flying off the cars left right and center at Sebring this weekend.
