'22s have been in the dealers for a few weeks already.
The dealers I’ve contacted are given late January arrivals. Which isn’t bad. S650 was supposed to be out this year

I’m in Texas I’ve been told they’re coming at the end of the month which isn’t bad. My concern is with custom s650 orders not being delivered fast enough in 2023. The wait has already been long enough seeing that it was supposed to be released this year 😅

So we are thinking a late 2022 “Reveal” then start production in 2023 as a best case scenario.

I'm thinking best case scenario sees a reveal this April, worst case late 2022. Production should start in March - April 2023 in either scenario, don't see them starting later than that.

Unless you drive an ecoboost or your car has issues, that's a terrible idea. Save the money and put it toward options you'd otherwise forego when the S650 comes
Yes I have a tuned eb premium at the moment, ready to get back to the V8 growl! I was expecting to trade up for the s650 this year.

Good point......most of the '22s I've seen have been at Michigan (or close by) dealers........so dealers further afield will take longer to get their cars :)

So most are pretty confident the new Stang will be on the streets in 2023.

Can I wait….that is the question.

That’s the same question I have seeing that we JUST started 2022 feels like it’ll be a long wait!

Also, do you want to be Ford's guinea pig and work through all the recalls and such for the rest of us? There will always be something better on the horizon, get what you want when you can afford it and enjoy it for the time you have it. Just my .02

The next gen mustang is going to be an improvement over the S550. Looks are subjective, 15 to 25hp more from the coyote? I'll wait to at least see how the S650 is going to look before buying another mustang. I agree with what others have said; reveal this summer and it hits the dealer lots 2nd quarter of '23.

We will have an idea of what this car is by summer and by fall we will know what’s what

I learnt the hard way - you can keep waiting for new cars at this point "forever". Just buy something if you like it so much. Much love.
