You want a $100,000+ Mustang.

All this new Mustang talk has me feeling grumpy. I by far prefer a Fox-sized Mustang with modern suspension. Obviously not Fox styling, but Fox SIZE. Smaller, lighter, better performance without needing too many expensive add-ons to get there. The Mustang development (as well as any other performance automotive development) should use the McLaren F1 as a model for how to make decisions. If it adds weight, don't do it.

I'm really afraid that future Mustang models are going away from what I always loved about the Mustang (and why I've owned so many). Small, inexpensive, V8 engine.

I really, really hope Ford proves me wrong and when the next Mustang comes out I will feel compelled to buy.
I'm right there with you. Once I heard from Matt Moran's YouTube channel that the S650 was going to be bigger, that was the nail in the coffin for me. I've owned 4 Mustangs and still have 2 of them. I'm done with Mustang until Ford gets the size and weight back under control. The current GT500 wasn't even a consideration after I heard how much it was going to weigh. I don't care how "great" it performs. All I can think of is how much better it would be, if it was 600 lbs lighter!

Really? Have you seen either the concept and production in person? Are you saying you ordered one? I simply dont believe you would spend your money on this. How could anyone that finds a 2014 GT good looking think that the new M3/4 looks good? Your taste in cars is too mature for this M disaster.

Domagoj Dukec aint sleeping well. God bless him for trying, but he could not get the concept into production and should have resigned in protest.

I am hearing from owners of BMWs that the proportions and aesthetics are stressful to experience.
Study the car show concept vs the production version.
BMW design has been in disaster mode past couple months and aftermarket already has several companies producing replacement front bumpers for BRAND NEW CARS. Prior Design is sold out unless you prepay for their M3/M4 replacement bumpers.

Breaking the continuous lateral curve linear theme across the upper front end was a detraction in the concept and when exacerbated was kiss of death for the production version.

At the show my gf was like "what are you starring at?" I said "heart shaped", and got slapped before I could finish the thought. She thought it was nice to look at too...

I've seen it in person, and I don't mind it at all.
