Being a contractor for a contractor for the government, this doesn't surprise me at all. Some higher ranking foreign military person said what makes us such a terrifying force is that we don't even follow our own military doctrine. Nearly impossible to know what we're going to actually do...
Yeah I think I confuse old with lazy. Been too long in a cush position at work. I will say my bodies warranty seems to expired since turning 40. New position I'm starting in a week and a half will have me crying till my body re calibrates to actual labor again. I expect my next garage jack...
Yep. I have all the dark modes I have seen turned on. My eyes have never liked backlit screens at night. Wife and I nearly fist fight over her tablet/phone usage when I'm trying to fall asleep.
I'll have to play with it more I guess. Maybe just having some "old guy itus" or something. I know there's the physical off button but it kills audio and everything I think? Basically I dislike looking like I'm in a movie with light on my face when in the car at night. Everyone will see me...
Meanwhile I'm tormented by both loving the screen and tech while also wishing I could turn the damn thing off when it's dark. Or at least an option to "lock" it like our phones so there isn't any back lit screen while night driving. Annoys the crap out of me!
At first glance with emotions leading the way, I hate this lol. At this point I would just rather have an auto trans. The clutch is a strong if not THE strongest part of why I row gears. The pedal manipulation determining how hard or soft you want energy transferred to the rest of the...
I've always wanted a BOSS... Wonder what the wife will think of a modified 10 year car plan. I'll surprise her and then enjoy the car after I'm out of the hospital.
Bought books, stones, and files. Tore my first 1911 (sig scorpion commander size) down to the frame and rebuilt it completely with new oversized parts filed, stoned, and sanded to size. Such a great experience and sold it for a nice chunk of profit. Missed it so much but wanted something...
Also, do you want to be Ford's guinea pig and work through all the recalls and such for the rest of us? There will always be something better on the horizon, get what you want when you can afford it and enjoy it for the time you have it. Just my .02
Luckily it's easy for me to be patient as no matter what it looks like, I'll be sticking with my GT. But you guys are surely getting me hyped with all the speculation haha!
I was gonna say company policy probably. Despite anyone's feelings, we tend to do what we must to keep getting paid. Knowing they're in the "spy shot" vehicle might make it a requirement to show the world Ford is following all safety guidelines. Also, what @DeluxeStang said lol.
