Normal A10 Transmission Temperatures?

Ford seems to think 260⁰ is high.

I use that as the "time to pull over" temp on my old hotrod... don't remember where I got that from... maybe an old hot rodder?

For questions like these, I would say contact Ford. I'm sure they have endless data available.

Of course the first person you speak with isn't going to have a clue but they can escalate. You'll eventually get to a tier 3 tech.

After stop and go traffic and small pulls in the city almost exclusively using the paddle shifters. Pulled into the driveway with 226 on the dash for the a10. Was actually 228 before I snapped the pic. Does ford have any guidelines on how hot the A10 actually gets? I’m aware the engine oil temp runs high but is it the same for the A10?

Glad I got a Manual trans....one less worry!
