Its horrible branding. The name is stupid and confusing. But Chris errr Jim Farley is obsessed with shitting on tradition and naming everything Dark Horse blah blah. And for the record Dark Horse Boss would have been equally stupid. They should have just called it Boss or Boss SC.I think they shot themselves in the foot with DH SC. From what I gathered by talking with other enthusiasts it sounds like tons of people really don't get that the DH SC is something completely different than the DH and a GT500 successor. Boss or something like "Dark Boss" would have been way more catchy so people get what this vehicle is
This has nothing to do with being "woke." I hate when people say crap like that just because they don't like someone else's decision. Frankly it's just lazy considering there are many other ways to say you don't like the name choice that are more actuate.FORD has gone woke like many of the other idiots in this country. We do away with history because we want to be progressive. Tear down that statue...you'll feel better!
Im sorry, but woke? What on earth does the Dark Horse SC name have to do with being woke? LolFORD has gone woke like many of the other idiots in this country. We do away with history because we want to be progressive. Tear down that statue...you'll feel better!
Maybe. Maybe not. Farely himself said they wanted to look to the future and not the past. And that Dark Horse would be tied to anything Ford performance. I dont think it had anything to do with Ford marketing, but rather Farleys ignorance. The Mach 1 came back because the Bullitt name license was up in 2020, so they called them the Mach 1, and for some reason Ford's marketing people could not sell that iconic name to the public so they created a new set of badges and limited the use of the DH name to a couple of option packages
