I wonder about a few other things. Gasoline, no matter the mix or octane, is a compound with many ingredients. While those ingredients vary, the difference between brands is almost moot. This said, the ingredients in E85 are different than those used for E10, especially those used as anti corrosives. I for one, would not use anything except for those recommended by the manufacturer. This raises the question, 'How can they (Ford?) tell what I'm putting into the gas tank?' It is easier than you might think—It is all in the color of the spark plugs!
Reading plugs and smelling gaps - oh the days. 😁

Ford themselves says to only use unleaded E10 fuel. those people designed the fuel system and electronics that control it and the engine. my dad once told me about the time he tried mixing E85 and E10 fuel in his Taurus SHO (new model) and got a check engine light before he even left the parking lot. unless you want performance issues and unwarrantable potential engine and fuel system issues, dont mix E85 and E10

The unfortunate part Zig, there is almost no hot rodder is left who can read them! Yes, if they're oily, charred, ground missing etc., then yes. But color? No way
