Just for reference. This is my 401A GT non PP. For less than 2k I added the PP wheels and Air Design spoiler.

Did you go with the 19x9 wheels all around? I.E., all four tires are sized at 255 40R19? Or did you decide to go with wider tires in the rear to match the performance pack?

Also, if I may - OK to ask where you picked up the wheels? Was talking with a friend last night and I advised going through the dealer.. curious to know if there's a more economical option for him.

AZ_Ryan's picture seals the deal for the wheels. Absolutely stunning!

They are OEM Performance Pack Wheels which means they are staggered. 9" front width and 9.5" rear width. 255/40-19 front and 275/40-19 rears.

I got these from Shelby American on ebay. They sell brand new OEM take-off wheels from the GTs they convert to Shelbys. Less than $1500 for the set with tires and sensors.

Edited to correct wheel size.

Pretty sure those Performance Pack wheels are 19x9.5 front and 19x10 rear.

Actually, they're 9" front, 9.5" rear. Thanks for pointing that out. 👍🏻
Yes, for some reason I thought they made them wider on the S650 but they're the same sizes as the S550 PP1 wheels.

My recommendation is give your future self a chance to live a normal life without the Tire Inflator Kit PTSD by making a better choice now. Go with a spare tire that fits Mustangs with Brembo Brakes on the Performance Pack:

https://www.automotiveauthorityllc....-gt-with-brembo-brakes?variant=44013419626753

Your future self will thank you. 😉
Going to get this, thank you.

One more week until I officially order my car! I'm still hopeful that one of my local dealers will make a competitive order.

I already bought a like-new car Ford OEM car cover for a great deal. Other items on my list:
- Spare tire (see above)
- Fitcamx 4K Dash Cam. I have a Fitcamx in my Volvo SUV and I think it's great.
- Thinking about 'LED Side Marker Lights Reflectors Lights'. Easy to install!

Excellent Review.
A lot of great information to think about.
he has another thread going, search button is great. Each individual chooses their own options based on budget and what they like. I am all open to support but geesh. Doubt most these types of posts ever result in an actual purchase.

I really appreciate all the information provided here, and I apologize for the other threads. Going to place an order this week. Not sure about the negativity from you, but it's all good.

Hi all once again,

I'm reviewing the paperwork and am ready to place my car order! :)

Sooo.... another question. Figured to put it here instead of opening a new topic.

My PP comes with 19" staggered wheels with summer tires mounted. I already mentioned before I would like all-season tiers. Now I was thinking about a square 20" setup (for tire rotation) if I have to get new tires anyway.

Few questions, it looks like 20x9 (Ford has this an option for non PP) should work fine. I have been doing some reading and up to 20x10 should be okay also (including 20x9.5).

- What is the offset value that I am seeing in the wheels below?
- Ford is using 265/35R20 tires on their 20x9 wheels. Should I follow the same size tires? I was thinking 275/35R20. Any other suggestions?
- Will the dealer be able to reprogram the car computer so accurate speed/distance readings are displayed? Any idea how much that would cost?
- I assume I would need to purchase 4 'Valve Stem-Mounted TPMS Sensors'? My options are plastic or metal valves (I assume metal would be recommended )
- Any other thoughts, concerns, etc about my plan? I do not plan to lower my car or make any further modifications (besides swapping out the side LED side lights)
- As far as brake dusk is concerned, does color make a difference?

Here are my candidates:

Goodness. You really are going down the rabbit hole on this.

Just so I understand, you are going to order a PP GT but swap the wheels for aftermarket 20"s??? Is this because you don't like the tires?

As for the offset. The values are the values. You need to look up the offset from Ford on the Factory 20s and get whatever matches.

No- The dealer will not reprogram your car if you change wheel diameter size.

Yes - black wheels show more brake dust.

Yes - if you buy new wheels and tires you will need new TPMS unless you use the ones that came off the factory wheels/tires.

Yessir!

Stock is 9x19 ET45 (f), 9.5x19 ET52.2 for 19", 9x20 ET42.5 for 20". Did some quick math and it seems that the offsets would be off by around 11mm with these 20"
