I have heard the sound on both my cars. I had a 2024 6speed base Gt and now have a 2025 6speed performance pack GT. It starts only under moderate/heavy acceleration around 3k and is present till about 5.5k. No mods for either car. I did notice that as I broke in both cars the noise subsided...

Pricing and discounts are based on region. Shop around and start sending emails out. Some dealers negotiate and others not so much. Car gurus is a solid website to help with actual pricing . If I was looking for a new gt now in my area I would be looking to get around 7.5k off msrp. Good luck.

Do a cold start on track and then switch it to quiet. There will be a noticeable difference. Once the car is warm there is a subtle difference between each modes. Maybe your expectations are too high. If the actuators are not working you will get a notification on dash.

I use water to dampen a microfiber towel. I do have an anchor room vinyl screen protector on it. It was pricey and a pain to install but worth it. On my last GT I did not want to use a screen protector, cleaned carefully but it still developed micro scratching.

The s650 is an improvement over the last gen car. I got a premium s650 with mt, pp and recaros. Smile every time I drive. At no time do I tell myself I wish I would have gotten a used s550.

my 24 had it, drove fine. My 25 does not have it after 3k miles. Seems like an issue that is not uncommon.
