Sounds like the BBQ tic to me. Have heard the tic many times. If it is there is no harm being done to the engine long term according to many owners on a huge number of threads. Can come from the factory like this or start at any time. There does not seem to be any kind of pattern to its arrival. Please, don't worry enjoy your car - but - for peace of mind you can take it to your dealership and have the service manager note it. IF you do this I respectfully suggest you have a work order opened so you have written proof. If under warranty no sweat. If off warranty I'd pay for a 1/2 hour service if you had too, but I'd expect your dealer to give you a written service order for free.

Does it do it during cold start for like 15-20 seconds then stops? If so, my GT had the same sound.

Put a couple bottles of Ceratec in it next oil change. I've done this on 3 Mustangs and the nose went away. I add more every other oil change

Pretty normal. Several people here have reported the same. Mine does it on a cold start AND when its cold outside. But not as loud. Usually only lasts 30 seconds or so. It goes away as soon as the RPM drops and doesn't come back. Its probably a pully bearing or cold belt. One person thought it was a PCV valve. Either way Its nothing to worry about. Drive and enjoy.

Probably the pcv. Mine clacks and makes a raspy electric arc type sound. Thats probably what it is. If it's concerning you get it checked.
