I have zero issues navigating around the Infotainment system. Then again, I've been using Sync since the first version.
Understand.
Part of my problem is we have 2 brand new cars, the VW and Mustang so I am learning both at once and getting confused.

Just wait until you have two different door button memory recall functions. As in, one has press and hold and the other has press and release to recall. Doh.

Ford SYNC is by far the worst infotainment architecture out there.

I don’t have any issues with mine. I also don’t have any apps on it either as I don’t need all that on my cars screen. Only thing I ever use is Sirius and/or fm and occasionally my phone to play music. I keep it all simple.

Having an issue with the am/fm, Sirius choices. When I select one of those three choices, it plays for a few seconds then automatically goes back to my phone. Is there a setting that can fix this?

All im looking for is an easy way to switch between B&O Radio and Apple CarPlay. I have a GT Premium with the 401A. I pretty much just listen to Spotify using CarPlay. But, there are times I would like to listen to local stations. It’s a nightmare anytime I try and switch. Thought I had found the perfect answer from another thread but there is no way I can find a “Sources” button, on purpose! I did find it accidentally after about two days of playing with this thing but then it was a pain to get back to CarPlay. When I finally was able to the “Sources” button disappeared again.

My last ride was a 22 GT with the same radio and package. On that one all I did was open the Ford Pass app that was in CarPlay. This model I cannot even get Ford Pass to show up under apps. The glow of having a new and “improved model” has turned into more of a dense fog. The owners manual has been useless so far. Page 388 of the manual shows you how to turn the audio system on, which I have mastered by pushing the button in but then everything starts going down from there. Item two shows an icon and tells you to press it to open the media source menu. Says you can press it multiple times to scroll 5hrough the sources. I cannot find this icon anywhere! I’ve always been fairly tech savvy but this piece of junk has got me wondering, for sure. Obviously I need some help but I’m hoping it won’t come from anyone that’s had the same problem. I’ve been working on this for days now. Thanks for listening.

The fact that the screens are laggy and full of bugs while they are new makes the future for this Mustang not that brighter when the car turns 5 years or older.

Digital tech always gets more laggy during the time.

Ford will never fix this issue. It will get even worse with these screens. Hopefully they learned the hard way and they will try something else for the refresh.
