B&O system is hot garbage for low frequency. Same for the B&O system thats a $6300 upgrade on my Audi S8. Little to no low frequency.

In my Honda CRV the Bose system sounds great / no distortion and has a plentiful amount of bass.

The Ford Sync system is also very laggy. Seems like something they could have fixed with adding an extra GB of ram to the unit, or putting in a half decent SSD. The UI layout also takes a lot of getting used to and isn't super intuitive for me.
No Highs, No Lows,
Must be Bose.
Can’t please everyone.

My complaint specifically is that from the factory the B&O upgrade lacks low frequency bass, and that historically I've been less than impressed with B&O's branded offerings. Also sync4 is a mess at times and @Ford Motor Company has acknowledged that and is working towards resolution.

Ford could please more by providing better value in an expensive upgrade, considering they're attempting to appeal to other demographics.

Out of curiosity, what have they acknowledged exactly?

I believe he is referring to the attached SSM where Ford says Sync 4 is less than perfect across all Sync 4 vehicles and a future update will improve it.

thanks! I was quite annoyed with some of the issues but glad that at least they are aware of it and plan on doing something about it.

How do you know it's even B&O without taking off the speaker cover and taking out the speaker? Other better brand speaker have their logo on the grill, mine do not say it anywhere (not taking off the covers). They do sound pretty regular. Somehow much worse than when I test drove. I'm not an 'audiophile', I just wanted good sound. These sound just a few notches better than average stock speakers in any average car to me. Is it possible mine are not B&O (no labelling on the covers). I just got my car 2024 premium GT. I see B&O on the sticker . It's the only way I think I might have them.
I'm missing my TLX that was just stolen. To me that had night and day in comparison sound, and it was their version of premium sound. I'm hoping I can upgrade my 'stang system to come be as good (I know I can't replicate it).

EDIT: I see from another thread now the only thing B&O is the amp// How much $ extra is this B&O amp?

If you have a subwoofer, you have the B&O system. It's not hard to upgrade the subwoofer. The other speakers require pulling some trim, but if you're going down the audiophile rabbit hole you're doing that anyway because of the need to install additional sound deadening.

Thanks for that!. Yes I'm looking to upgrade likely 4 of the speakers also: I just posted this question about upgrading. I know very little about speaker install and what speakers etc I need for what I want to hear: https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/threads/anyone-suggest-speakers-sub-and-amp-to-upgrade-to.162323/

Better Sub made a big difference.
Im hoping to get it upraded with new sub and probably 4 replacement car speakers 6.5s. Good not perfect high fidelity. Like my upgraded sound in my last car. I thought ar first the stang sounded similar to that. I was wrong lol
