It really was, and thanks :) . It took a lot of time (which is money) from work time for me. And lots of lack of sleep which affected everything. But yes, it was the best outcome.
But did you have an option to take the car back with a settlement offer? Even though it was sitting there for that time frame. After that did you have a choice to take it back?
Yes, my experience with Ford was very smooth , very surprised. I contacted a lawyer just in case, and I didn't...
Yes. It was stressful. Mainly not knowing what I'll get back. Esp with the $$$$ i dropped into it. Lucky I drove only 3k miles. Thats can be a 50cent per mile deduction. Then looking for a replacement car. Missed work hours $$. Im so glad it's over.
I got it all back all of it. Yes aftermarkets...
I got everything I paid back. It might have been b/c of the reason for the lemonization. I was told by service that I couldnt even have a choice of having the car back due to safety issues, which is probably why the payback ended up as it did. I'll never know what those issues were. I...
I'm about to get the offer if I stay with Ford. There's really big incentves at my local dealer. I know 2025 year over year msrp is up $4,000. But the incentives are $7.000 off msrp If it stacks with corporate, it's a better chance I do a re-do. Even better if I can somehow order the car...
It cant be fixed. It's finalizing the buy back. I put only 3,500 miles on it, so hopefully my deduction is only about $1700 from total cost. I dont need to remove anything, pending finalization, ford's been fair. about it.
I'd possibly get another mustang, as I think staying with a new...
Dealership said its a ford defect. I asked about what i put on it soeaker etc. He said no whatever the issue is is Ford. They got approval to replace a $3,000 part. I need to ask again what that part is. To hopefully fix it. Im not as worried as i was. Taking the car back doesnt affect the...
I know the dealership is out of the offer. Though lem
I'll see where it goes on Friday. At least FL seems to be the more in favor of the driver compared to other state's lemon laws. Even including collateral input.
They do seem to want to make it right. But the dealerships said its much more than just what I"m seeing and hearing. They cant even update the software, among other things. I called Ford corp to ask them to assist . As ford wasn't giving the dealership the resrources to get the bottom of...
FOrd asked me about modifications. I toldt them about Audio and speakers.. She said 'no, we need to know about mechanical or performance mods'.
I had problems with it before any changes to the car as well.
HI
I'm glad you posted all that. Florida law says it equires the manufacturer to buy back the defective vehicle and give the consumer a purchase price refund or a replacement vehicle. It doesn't talk about not including fees.
I'd be fine with a trade out. Im gong to argue for the upgrades...
that makes sense, however they are getting materials that I paid the $7,000 for.
That might be legal for them to take, but I'll have to see how it pans out. Ford is making me an offer in a week. I'm calling a lawyer to talk before that. The problems include that the software updates are not...
Good idea
Ill ask him if thisbis all a car play issue or what. Rather than guessing this and that. And ask mkre from there if i need. Sode note. They been really great with me getting me an explorer rental. When i har my acura they never did anything for me. Eso not a loaner when they had...
That definitely makes sense, and I was thinking similar. But I was thinking (and I'll ask the service guy) if it is just the CarPlay connection issue (which I know all CarPlay cars have, includ my past accrua, and the current explorer I got as a loaner). ? I told them about the known CarPlay...
Hi
From what I see from FL lemon law if ford takes my car for being in service over 30 days, then 10 more add'l after notifying ford, , they dont have to pay me for the $7000 or so I put into it: Audtio upgrade, alarm, fog lights, ambient lighting. I'm hoping my car is not determined legally a...
I'm glad I saw this thread although I'm about a year too late. I dropped off my 2024 mustang gt about two weeks ago they see the problem they can't fix it so the dealership is having an engineer come in to figure out how to fix it. I'm going there tomorrow and showing this thread because...
I leave the fogs on by mistake most time i park and turn off the car lol ugh. I have my car battery charger in case car wont start. But i'm going to ask the installer if he can wire it so the fog go off when the car is off. So whoever is considering doing what I did definitely think about that I...
