I just got my 2024 GT premium. I want to upgrade the already "upgraded sound'. If anyone knows what a newer (2021+) acura TLX with that upgraded factory sound is like (called ELS Studio) , I'd be totally fine with that sound. It was my last car and I really loved the full sound, smooth bass, I feel all frequesncies were nice and clear enough. I listen 90% to edm. But also other music at times.
I think I'm looking for a basic upgrade. Maybe replace 4 speakers in the car and replace the sub (I don't think the sub with car does anything). And an amp. I don't even know what cross overs do, but I might need that also. I was today quoted for $1800 for the 4 speakers, amp, sub, install. The speakers are Kicker DSC650 6 1/2" (https://www.amazon.com/s?k=kicker+d...icker+dsc650,electronics,104&ref=nb_sb_noss_2) and Black Diamond DIA-R12D4 Sub Woof (https://www.amazon.com/Black-Diamond-DIA-12D4-Subwoofer-Speaker/dp/B096HDPQNW?th=1) I see online the speakers and sub are $400 total. I dont know how much the amp is. So I feel I can get a way better price for materials and install if I buy my own materials and have someone else install.
Shoudl I get something different than the above? The above speakers+Sub seem pretty cheap, so I'd pay more if I can get more of what I'm looking for or a bit better. And if somone knows what amp (?), etc.
