9 Speaker vs B&O Speakers, Amp

Just curious if anyone knows if the 9 speaker system in the premiums is basically the same as the B&O except for the added subwoofer in the B&O?
Could not find much info googling it. Have read on here that the B&O uses pretty cheap ford speakers also. probably just like the 9 speaker. same size amps in both? anyone know the size of the amps?
I got my 9 speakers sounding decent after some adjusting settings and using youtube music.

No idea. I have the basic system. But I hear either system has cheap speakers. Soon I may upgrade them probably with a small four channel amp. If you're interested in a subwoofer (1), let me know. I can recommend one you'll never knew was there. Barely takes up room. But the best part is idiots can't see it when you open the trunk.

Thanks, what subwoofer are you using? I had looked into that mod also. & yeah from what I have read both systems use ford speakers, the b&o is designed by them, marketing using their name.

I'm using a Cerwin - Vega 12" VPAS12ST. It's about 14" wide and slightly over 5.5 inches thick. Like a big hockey puck with a hole in the middle. Built-in amp and accessories. You take the spare, turn it upside down, put on the speaker, insert the tightener through the hole and tighten it as you would a regular spare tire. This assembly is a little more than most at $349⁹⁵. JBL makes them with or without an amp. The one with the amp is comparably priced under $400. Rockville Rock Ghost is under $200 and also a 12". I think they have a model that's an 8". These sound really good. I laughed when I first seen them. Not going to slam like my old 15" with a Rockford Fosgate Punch 75, or thousand watt PPI with three 10" JL 10W6s. You'll get good bass in a tiny space save room and a lot of weight. You don't want to weigh down a race horse. These units are between 10-20 lbs. Check YouTube videos.
