Yeah regular dark horse without handling package appears close to GT with performance pack and magneride , same size tires, etc. for a daily driver the GT is just fine. we may get some news on any changes made for 2026 models this summer, not far off. thanks again.
Yeah true, always planning ahead on next trade move though. Yeah also true Ford will probably have a new trim out maybe for 2026, or change up something in the near future. thanks.
Have been thinking over what trim level to go with next time I trade in the future. Currently have a 25 GT Premium 400A and like it a lot. Was considering maybe going Dark Horse next time but after research I think I like the GT Premium seats more since they are full leather or leather type...
Thanks for all the information, yeah hard to say what Ford has planned, my guess is 2027 a refresh probably, might see a new trim level 2026. Just checked the sales numbers and Ford sold 4,186 Mustangs for March 2025, at least an improvement over the past 6 months in the 2 thousands per month...
Anybody have any insight into what model year we will see a refresh? google says 26 or 27, sounds about right probably. we should start to see some 26 news this summer, curious if they change anything. or could get a new trim level maybe.
yeah I like most everything the Dark Horse offers and it is more rare compared to GT's and has an unique look. the only thing I wish they included cooled seats standard on the dark horse like they are on the GT premium. at that price Ford should make that standard as well as the aluminum foot...
I thought they could have hit the brakes harder and taken the turn faster than they did in the dark horse, did not see much tire sliding on the turn, especially with the handling package. the second driver was better also, made it close to the end. can not believe how much that dodge weighs...
Thanks for all the responses and information! I plan on keeping my GT for a while then probably going with the dark horse before my warranty runs out. ford may come out with other new trim levels for future model years also. it sounds like most everyone is happy with their dark horses though...
Curious on how happy you all are that have Dark Horses currently? Any regrets on getting the dark horse over a premium GT? I have a 25 400A GT premium currently & debating on going the dark horse way next time I trade in the future. Do many of you use it for daily driving? I would not take it to...
Yeah I really do not see how they are charging 4995 more for the 700A with how little extra they are giving, especially if you get Recaros. My 400A has that approach lighting and I turned it off, was annoying every time I walked near it with keys in pocket it would flash lights. the 600A has...
Yeah that is true they are probably trying for more profits, but still seems odd the highest level Mustang and at that price would not come with cooled seats while the 400A GT does and do not have to option it on the GT.
Ford may have to adjust prices in the future if sales numbers do not start...
Was researching the 600A vs 700A trim levels and did not see a lot I would need to spend the extra money for 700A except for cooled seats. I currently have a 400A GT and it came with heated and cooled seats, anyone have any idea why Ford did not include cooled seats standard on 600A as I would...
My 400A 10 speed 2025 with just the active exhaust was around 52K msrp , no gas guzzler tax. then just get a set of wheels for it and tint the windows and looks good.
On my 2025 I was trying to decide the same thing and went with the 400A, did not see anything on the 401A I really wanted or needed. the interior on the 400A is still very nice, nice seats. the 9 speaker stereo is pretty good too once you get it adjusted and use a good audio source.
I think I agree the 600A is the way to go if want to keep price down some. do not see a whole lot extra added on 700A for that much extra money. I have a 400A GT now and I actually turned off that walk up lighting feature as it would flash the lights every time I walked near it with the keys in...
That is smart to switch wheels for daily driving. the tires i got are the michelin pilot sport 4 all seasons. you probably get cars wanting to race with the drag pack on.
Your Mustang looks really good with that setup! & yeah I figured it would be more for straight line racing and not for daily driving so much and taking corners. This spring I have a set of RTR Tech 5's charcoal colored with 275/40R19 I am going to run when I switch from winter wheels. hopefully...
Yeah this is true, I have actually got the 9 speaker sounding good, using youtube music set to high quality, still the free version though. have bass set to halfway and some songs have quite a bit of bass.
Curious how the Mustang drives with the Weld Racing skinny wheels up front and wide wheels in back?
I think they are 18x5 front and 18x10 rear. look cool but guessing not greatest handling on street.
