Just been doing some research and watching some videos on the new Stingray C8 and it looks really nice. All reviews say it is a great car.
I did have a Corvette a long time ago, was a C4 LT1, 1992. I liked it but that one seemed to have issues dragging the front end on driveways, etc. was pretty low.
If anyone on here does or has owned a C8, what trim level did you have? been researching if the 1LT, 2LT or 3LT would be best, about a 10K price difference between the 1LT to 3LT. that 3LT does look nice on videos. might have a better resale value?
I am not planning on trading probably until my warranty is up on my GT, so a couple more years, but just looking at what else is out there. Thanks.
Oh also I see they did redesign the interior for the 26 to get rid of that big wall of buttons so that is good. & the one main thing I see missing on the 1LT is the ventilated seats, I really like that in my GT premium, but with the cab size so small in the C8 may not be necessary.

Great cars, some of my buds in my car groups have them, so I drive them time to time. Tremec dual clutch is nice and smooth, for sure get at least a 2lt, front end lift, and maybe down the line a exhaust! I just bought a 25 DH over a vette. Im just a Mustang guy!

Why on what is clearly a Mustang site?
I have seen several posts from members featuring pics of their cars/garages that own C8s in addition to their Mustang.

I drive a 24’ C8 2LT and a 24’ GT Mustang.

the 3LT is a lot of upgraded interior fabric and materials. No HUD on 1LT trim. The discounts are out there, $7-10k isn’t unheard of. Low mileage used is an option too. Plenty of them on the Vette Forums.

Here is what I’ll tell you.

I looked at both, and chose the Mustang GT.

dealers wouldn’t let me drive the C8, so I went and drove one at drive exotics on the track in DFW.

hated how it drove. The front end constantly lifts.

for less money I am getting a PP AE M6 GT with Ford Performance Supercharger and full warranty.

redoing the interior in Katzkin leather / suede and Calling it a day.

I do not know why the Mustang and the C8 get compared they completely different and a totally different driving experience.
I am on my 2nd C8. My first was a 1LT and my current (pictured) is a 2LT. The 2LT is the sweet spot. Those in the know will not buy a 3LT because of the delaminating dash that goes back to the C6 days and happens on every car.

They get compared now because they're so close in price and offer a V8.

Definitely go with the 2lt. Lane detection is a must! I really liked the HTC over the coupe as far as the luxury of not having to deal with manually removing the top plus it's the best looking convertible and you can use the rear view mirror without the camera on. 😁
I wished I could have kept mine as a stable mate along with the DH.
Interested to see if GM releases a grand sport.

I don’t think the C8 will get a GS. If they do that wide body would be to tempting.
